I think it would be beneficial on the long run that whenever you travel to a region once you get in you can see the list of all the illuvials present in the region. Not telling us where they are or anything, just knowing what could be captured on this run.
The first 5-10 hours of OW seemed super fun to me, but after a while when you're left grinding 50+ hours for the same 10 illuvials it becomes quite annoying imo. It feels like doing a pack opening, except the pack opening is excruciating because i'm just speed running the same routes hitting illuvials pressing E and hoping i see something interesting, in this case i'm much rather click on a button and have all the illuvials revealed with a no animation.
So i think it would be nice when getting in the region to see all the available illuvials to capture. Then we could either say okay i like this one and this one so i'll search for them on the entire map, or just acknowledge that none of them are interesting to us on this run and just speedfarm shards/consumes and go to another region. Because on the long run having to grind again and again shooting illuvials we don't care about is painful imo.

I agree right now it just feels like a grindy speed run trying to get the T5 missing but imo its only this way because we play with fake money for fake illuvials, simply trying to get points for the airdrop
Once its going to be on main net everything will have a value associated with it. Part of the pack opening thrilling experience is no not know whats inside and have that dopamine unpredictable reward
If we were to know everything thats inside right away it would ruin that exciting part of the experience
you'd get that same rush when clicking "travel to xxx", that's basically when, your pack is created, and then you get a reveal as soon as you get there. then if you like what you got in your pack, you need to go find the units you care for to collect them (which is already much more effort than any other pack opening). but otherwise it's just ours of grinding that end up driving you nuts. opening a shitty pack is always disappointing, it's okay it's part of the game, it's what make good packs thrilling. But taking 30 mins to open a shitty pack is crazy painful imo
If you know in advance you will still search a long time for your 1-2 not so amazing illuvials while shooting some rocks
If you dont know, the next one always could be the 100k dark holo perfect stats rhamphyre. Thats pack opening 🔥
exactly my point. I will spend 1 hours searching all over the place to find that tier5 illuvial i'm missing that's fine. it drives me nuts to search 1 hour for little shitters i already captured 25 times.
And you would see your dark holo rhamphire in the list right when you get to the region, that's the same rush
and at least if i know when i get there that no illuvial is worth my time i'll just speed run rocks in 5 mins and move on to next pack
Maybe implement a scanner or something like that as a drone upgrade that tells you like a hotmap, how strong/rare are the illuvials in the area. At max tier it will be more precise. So a little gauge at the bottom screen showing red meaning thst is something big on the map, it could be a holo, or it could be an ador. This way you keep the thrill while forcing you to take a decision if you want to explore or not
Just a feedback on this, i personally dont have a problem of how the things are
Or maybe give illuvials power levels and display the total power level when you enter an area, idk
