#PB4 Testnet airdrop points

I feel you should stay on the flat amount as it was written in the blog and also got communicated everywhere.
One can argue tho that 400 points is not an appropriate amount for all pb4 tester
Had a big discussion with kieran about this a while ago
I also believe it shouldnt have been flat. The main problem was that it wasnt clear and official from the start
I decided then to not push for an IIP after all because it would be worst to change mid-PB4, now after PB4
The thing that i wanted out of it was that at least things would be more clear for open test net and they are
Much grinded but a lot more played just a few hours knowing it wouldnt matter so it wouldnt be fair to change it now when PB4 is done
So as much as i agree that it shouldnt have been flat i dont support changing it
For those who have acces in #🗻〕land-owner heres the discussion im reffering to
#🗻〕land-owner message
Rewarding 400 points to someone who played 4 hours and someone who played 100, 200, 300+ hours is it really the way we wanna go with this?
Talk about punishing those who pushed the boundaries and helped find and report bugs. Simply letting the illuvials that were captured count for the OB bonus points would be a sufficient reward. Otherwise it will get confusing as hell to know which illuvials are the OB ones and which ones are the PB4 ones.
Where does it say that the illuvials caught during PB4 doesn't count?
it doesn't, that's why Kieran made this pool

Right, ty
Isn t written anywhere!! And i can t be at the same position with a new player that starts today, play 4 houres and is at 400 points like me that i played 280 houres and contribuited all this time with bugs and test
Many hours dedicated to this game and poorly rewarded
imo the flat airdrop points have been communicated clearly and repeatedly
ive been pushing the team to be transparent about the minimum play time at least 24 hours before it ends so people dnt miss out and the team did that
i asked the team to announce airdrop points calculation and they have done that as well
so far im happy with what the team has done with the P2A
Im happy with the flat amount and the head start in terms of resources. I know people that missed out on private beta despite having lots of play time. So to them its far more unfair missing out all together compared to getting to play early and only rewarded a small amount
I didnt really think of the headstart aspect with being able to catch the higher tier illuvials sooner that way as well is a plus for having grinded to play tier 3 runs
yea pb4 was a good headstart
I think retroactively changing something that was clearly communicated beforehand is incorrect.
Of course some of you (including me...) have played significantly more than 4 hours. But you now have more experience.
Besides, you can't always make everything 100% fair for everyone.
I would see the issue as closed.
Honestly think the more players we have getting an 100 bucks airdrop, the better for the game's mainnet.
I can't wait to spend my airdrop earnings inside the Illuvium mainnet, to earn even more airdrop rewards.
I think the current airdrop policy is very healthy for the game.
If you actually spend 400h, well then you definitely should've seeked out an official contract as tester with the Illuvium team.
The truth is that I am still discouraged, having spent more than 100 hours only for them to then say that the airdrop continued and not only that, now it is very easy to catch stage 3 illuviual
I have realized that with being able to keep our progress from PB4 we can much faster capture and not have to grind out our gear for traversal and material acquisition. We have a good head start
If they wiped our gear upgrades and our teams it would be a lot more work
