Proposal for Drone Knowledge Repository Integration in Inventory

Thats sounds like a fun idea Linkky. Do you think components for drone chip or the chips themselves could also be found in a simmilar manner?

In any case i think this could add a nice extra to the game but surely not to implement before OB

It's a possibility, but for that to work, the drop rate would need to be very low to ensure it doesn't negatively impact Illuvium's revenue too much.

It could look like this:
When your drone reaches a certain score that increases based on discoveries made, which should take time. Then, it could be possible for the drone to discover or request materials via the forge to create a crate that contains mysterious low drop rate items.

I like this, I really think we could benefit from having a progression system for the drones.

I didn't understand how to unlock each drone though. You say "until the player discovers or collects the corresponding drone" Is this something tied to missions? Is it a collectible found in the OW?

The best would be to relate it to the lore.
Otherwise,

Example: The player has to take a picture with a special DroneChip which allows the Ranger to scan the illuvials when they are running in the Overworld.

So, imagine you see a Rhamphyre running around. The Ranger will have to have it in their aim using the DroneChip special ability in order to scan it and collect advanced biodata on the illuvials, which will be used for... something... or it can give an advanced biodata sheet which can be used in ILZ to, for example, provide a higher chance to find a blueprint of that specific illuvial biodata.
