#Zero:Apply production boost to science buildings

What do you mean production boost? The efficiency?
Tier production boost
LikI giving higher production boost to tier2 and 1?
I think it should have been implemented from start on.
Landplots have different production boosts, for the Element + fuel production
T1: 0
T2: 33%
T3: 100%
T4: 300%
My question is; should those boost also apply to science Buildings Like Scanner + matlabs
Mmmmm if that were the case I would have bought more t3 and Less t2. I’m not against the idea of implementing it.
But maybe it should have been clarified from start.
But given that every plot will kinda specialize on either fuel or bps I don’t think it would be that game breaking. Specially since higher tiers don’t have that much space. That’s why I thought having multiple gyms was better than just having one. I like the oportunity cost being taking into consideration.
The reason i bring this up is because according to townhall an variois comments, Team pushed for more diversity in Buildings than simply spaming converters and powerstations, basically forcing landowners to rather build mixed plots than spezialising on fuel.
So for example if a t4/3 gets pushed towards also Building a small bp production and less fuel Buildings, they have to swap out Buildings with boost (fuel) with Buildings without boost (bp production).
Whereas the production boost was a Big Part of the increased value on sale, which basically gets lowered drastically due to the forced mixed Layouts.
Gyms are still being worked in, but implementing those will take time. I don't know how much, but i wouldn't expect them in 2024
Yes, I don’t expect gyms anytime soon either. If more mix plots are being pushed it still benefits higher tiers. Since lower tiers wouldn’t go all out on converters and Higher tiers would produce fuel much efficiently since having more fuel spots and production boost. And thus, balancing things as was originally intended. But just saying mix plots are more favored it’s still very vague and hard to speculate on.
Lower tiers weren’t originally designed as having higher fuel production per money spent. So I would wait on the changes. Or ask Jonny if it’s too troublesome to know the exact details.
It’s hard to theorycraft without numbers
lower tier most likely have to build mixed plots anyways to pay the fuel for the research of BP's. It's more of a forcing high tier to also have a little BP production.
Maybe i find comments from johnny to this.
I read this and thought about it. I highly doubt higher tiers would need to have a small blue print production. Maybe I’m missing some info. @river rampart
Oh so we getting upgraded power stations I didn’t know that. So we end up filling gaps on where we use to have power stations. What’s is your concern? Having a lower fuel production than intended on higher tiers? As a I see it everyone gets lowered production. Lower tiers gets lowered much more given the much of the advantage was by spamming converters. Making higher tiers % fuel production from total production higher which gets them higher % from fuel sales total. Am I missing something?
You are making me want to play zero @steel swallow
I spent countless hours on mmo markets arbitraging and making plans on max gold efficiency per hour
simply said.
if BP production get forced on high tier, why is there no production bonus on them aswell?
If i remember right that wasn't inteded at all in the beginning, there was like t4 get 4x production of fuel and totally focuses on fuel production solely, T1 is focused on BP so they don't actually need production boost since sciency buildings anyways arent affecting it.
All this now gets mixed up with beta.
But i guess you probably right, way too theoretical and people have to see it first.
there was a townhall dedicated to IZ somewhere in january, sure you find it on illuvium+ youtube.
Some good infos here and there in the vid.
the spamming converters was more of an exploit than an advantage, was never intended. 😄
Some non intended ways are more fun
