The idea of this proposal expands on Kieran's IIP. The proposal simulates as if we were given a 3-6 window to prep our land for Open Beta which was the original plan for Illuvium Zero release. The other main goal of this proposal was to do away with the 10% payments that drag out payments and have a monthly first in first out payment structure based off the player's percentage of all fuel sold after the Illuvium Zero release. Unfortunately this doesn't solve the land owner's ability to use fuel revenue to subsidize Overworld runs on Open Beta release, but by getting payments out faster land owners will recoup the money they used on Overworld runs quicker.

So, trying to understand... The proposal aims to reward landowners who sell fuel during the first 3 months that P2E Zero is live. The 5% of sales is ON TOP of what landholders get for revshare? Or is bonus being used loosely here and really just means the 5% ala iip-45 and just goes to landowners who sell the most fuel?

What I notice right off... it incentivises landowners to compete for the pooled 'bonus'. That competition imo would cause landowners to sell fuel cheaper in order to race for more fuel sales... effectively helping buyers but hurting the economy.

Damn... well sounds like this would cause massive unfair competition as t4 and mega cities would obvs get to fuel production hella fast... leaving lower tiers out of bonus and fuel sale value. i kinda think longer duration is better than this /:

That's always going to happen no matter the system unfortunately.

but at least with longer term there won't be as much competition and thus fuel value won't go as low... therefore lower tiers would gain more sale value

I can't speak for everyone but at this stage I'd rather just get airdropped according to land tiers every month since the begining and not have to wait 3 extra months, even if that means its not play to earn

Unless you pay with interests of course

The only hope us t1 owners have, i own 3, is a play to earn system and hope the higher tiers dont play or rent to someone who is lazy.

If I understand correctly, T1 gets 1x, T2 gets 4x, T3 gets 16x and T4 gets 64x

#

Seems fair enough if it's only for 1 or 2 months, no need to make messy distributions, no delays. But maybe that's just me

If there were no delays those land owners wouldn't be making anything so why give them free stuff?

No payment delay I meant

No im saying if IZ was never delayed

I gotta head to bed, 2 am but i will check up on the thread in the morning Atlas_Love Atlas_Love

I Like the System Change with the multiple pools and i'm gona steal it for my IIP 😂
It's the closest you can get as if Zero was live at Launch.

That was always the case, if you artificially delay it more, you lower value high Tiers had and add a Bonus for low Tier. And lets be honest here, up for now there was a Lot of value taken from high Tiers to Make low Tiers "playable"... Best example is Max fuel output down to a T1:T4 of 1:10, or rather implement a new Building for t1/2 (podarium) than an Element sink for high Tiers or landmarks being almost useless.

I like this part and think it should be added to IIP-49:
"An extra period of time, 3 to 6 weeks, will be added to simulate the intended Pre-Open Beta Illuvium Zero release window."

I don't like the need to do calculations at the end of each month and distribute that way. To me, 10% or a variable percentage each month seems easier to implement and understand what to expect.

So this would be closer to what would happen in reality if we go month by month. Like this is the distribution we would get if we just go live with no delays.

#

We o ly would be getting it x month delayed. I like this much better than Kieran solution. This seem much closer to the distribution we would get if we just go live from day 1
