My idea is to use the Augments in Overworld to fuse with weapons/armor and have upgrades to the 70 mp weapons and 40 mp armor as a long term quest. It could have up to 4 quests, one for each stage. As you progress through collecting each stage group of augments your weapon/armor would increase in strength until the last quest where it would also add a glow or some other cosmetic effect.
