Staking Land for Rewards

The Idea is to make a Staking Page (off chain) where you can Stake your Land Plots to collect Points.
From those points you can purchase Stuff like D1sks, Discounts for Merch, .... on a Staking-Store

This will get the Land Holders some more Benefits and bring an extra value to the land plots.

This should be off chain and if you purchase something from the Staking Store the D1sk will get sent to your account or the discount code to your email.

Tier 1 Land plot gets x points per 24h
Tier 2 land plot gets x ....

Standard D1sk costs x points
Mega D1sk ....

Let me just get this straight, you're against giving d1sks in an expanded leaderboard for beyond but you want to give them for staking land?

Beyond has his leaderboard. People get something for the top 100th.
In Zero is so much money for the last ~2 Years.
And they had way less than beyond.
This should be a win for Zero and Beyond and the players.

We will be more than rewarded once OB launches... This dissing on beyond while it's the only active game running rn gets annoying. It's not a win to give freebies for no reason. I'm against this sorry.

You get so much from purchasing d1sks. Emotes, skins, more d1sks ...
Why not give land holders the same back for their purchase?

And if you check what you get from beyond d1sks and you all get that stuff only on open beta too. Emotes, skins, Battleboard.

This is not a give away stuff for free in the first month. Unless you have a few land plots.
You need to stake and collect the points.
At Walker World I still wait after 6 Months of staking to get something.
The more land plots, the faster you get something. Don't need to be something big. But D1sks or discount code or anything like that.

A Tier 1 is 600$ right now. Look what you get for purchase standard D1sks for 600$

I get you, but looking at this wave extravagant rewards is not a good example cause they over pushed it cause otherwise this wave 2 would have been a total failure. They even had to prolong it for double the time of wave 1 and still manage to have less sales...

I totally agree with this or any kind of rewards system in place for land/IL Zero. Land holders were overlooked and for almost 2 years there was nothing to incentivize land. PVP is/will be getting rewards soon although imo shouldn't get it in the state Arena is at the moment and Beyond has had rewards since the start. And now with the possibility that Open Beta might be launched somewhere in May or even June there has to be something in place for IL Zero also.

Imo it should be prior or as soon as possible. Work is getting done for Arena rewards right now so that is also technically delaying OB work

If it's done after OB what does it mean to have a staked plot? I can play fully play it but can't sell it for X amount of time?

No it should not be locked staking.
So you can sell if you want, whenever you want.
Should not be much work because it's only off chain. But idk I am not a Dev.

What is staking for if it doesn't require a commitment to hold through locking? Is this just the same as earning points for holding land then?

Yes. You hold your land plot and earn points. But you need to put them in the staking page. But you need enough points (takes time) to get some of the rewards. So it's indirectly locked.

Nice, incentive for long-term holding without forcing it. Why do you need to take action to put it in the staking page though?

You don't. But you don't want to get free stuff to people that don't do anything. There are still people that bought land on land sale and did nothing with it. Maybe they are not here.
You should be doing at least this to get the points.
Like the blueprints.

IMO This seems fair. There are leader boards and passive rewards for the other projects. I don't like OB leaderboard, it's purely pay to win and only incentives whales since the start.
There is a bit to flesh out, but I think it's in the right direction especially when it's just D!sks or discount codes.
