Use this thread to post our questions for the Illuvium Zero Town Hall with Johnny! Let's help out @wise slate by trying not to add duplicate questions.

Can you give us an estimate of the number of days or weeks that Illuvium Zero will go live before overall Open Beta?

My understanding is that we won’t get a new version of Illuvium Zero until before Open Beta.
Once the blueprint minting period ends on February 3rd, could the next version of Illuvium Zero be released for testing and feedback in the time left before actual launch?

Once Illuvium Zero is fully connected to the blockchain, will all transactions like selling fuel, selling resources, or moving Morphopods from the Overworld, happen just through the Illuvidex, or will some types of transactions require wallet signatures?

Will Illuvium Zero be playable in some way on Apple devices by Open Beta?

Will version updates, rather than full download and reinstalls, be in place by Open Beta?

  • What Balancing changes we can expect for beta? (paths, converters, landmarks, efficiency system, power-stations, etc.)
  • What QOL updates are coming? (LVL up pop up, big harvesting bubbles, etc.)

  • Is there an additional element sink coming for open beta? (For now on a T3 i much rather have the space to build, than the element efficiency bonus)
  • It is said that IZ earns 5% of ingame revenue, with fuel it is going to be solved with the 19:1 ratio in selling, what is with other ingame sells like for example coins and builders in IZ or beyond disks etc.? Does everything get priced in fuel?
  • What rewards are coming for long term holders/active players and what are the parameters to determine how much rewards a plot gets?
  • What's the targeted max fuel output ratio between the tiers? What exactly are the parameters to determine the ratio and how they got weighted? (In Alpha the ratio seems way off)
  • Are certain parameters already fixed for systems explained in IIP-39? (automated balancing system, automated land sale system, top rail)
  • How long before open beta IZ will be launched?

  • How passive fuel converters will work if different to the current model.
  • If plant coins are removed how will t1s be able to compete with higher tiers.
  • What will the dyes be used for?
  • Will there be any min or max amount of fuel that can be sold to the pool in any transaction. Example I have 50 Solon on a t1 can I sell immediately?
  • What rewards are likely to come to long term holders and are they going to come pre open beta? I have land I need to transfer into one wallet for my megacity but have never sold any land only moved it.

Can we get more details on Megacities:

  • How will they function at Open Beta? What, if any, production bonuses they will have?
  • Will they have some unique buildings/perks in the future?
  • If I have a 2x2 and now I researched the blueprints on only 1 of the 4 plots will this count for the entire Mega when Open Beta will launch?

  • When I looked a while ago, over half of land was held in wallets with 4+ plots. What changes are coming to improve the experience playing multiple land plots to reduce the need to use scholars and lending? Please tell us that some of these suggestions have been implemented as they could make a big difference:
    ○ Reduce number of clicks in-game (beyond just level-ups)
    ○ Land plot list should show which you're currently on
    ○ One-click plot switching (function hotkeys?)
    ○ Maintain settings for zoom level and "show" menu selection through plot switching
    ○ Indication of land tier on-screen at all times
    ○ Indicate which plots have idle builders, extractors, or converters
  • How much of a megacity will fit on the screen when fully zoomed out?
  • Is there any benefit at all of keeping lands in a single wallet, besides megacities?

If you buy the blueprints off the market now, do you then not have to research them anymore when OB comes out?
I.e. I was too lazy. I could spend 30$ to buy 9 blueprints and be done with it? 😄

If that is not the case, what will be saved on your plot? If you trade the plot, it loses all progress right? so do you now have a soft staking going on where you can't sell your land or you lose the effort you put in over the past period? Or does every land get an immutable +1 if they uncovered blueprints in the alpha?

Is Zero going into a closed Beta Test Phase to test the new implementations and changes if it is ready but it's too early to start on chain for open Beta of OW and Arena?

Will there be different probabilities of scanning illuvial biodata subregionally based on geography or location? (for instance: Would plots located closer to the Halcyon Sea be more likely to scan a rare or high tiered water illuvial?)

  • What specific in-game mechanisms are prepared for manual fuel supply balancing to either increase or decrease fuel supply or demand if demand is significantly higher or lower than expected upon Illuvium Open Public Beta Launch, or sees large fluctuations? Will these also impact how quickly ILZ players can develop their land plots (e.g. changing fuel production rate at the extractor/converter level)?
  • Is an ICCP still required ahead of public beta launch to set the top guardrail and other fuel parameters? What's the status of these discussions and are they on schedule?
  • Roughly how many tier 1 travels per week do you think a tier 1 land should support, assuming it's optimized for fuel production and that production is balanced between all three fuels (not all crypton)?
  • Will we be able to use the Zero Point Transducer to transport elements and fuel to any other land plot (even owned by others) for just a transport fee and are there any other details that can be shared about this?

Well, it's not an easy question. Similar to yours above too, but I was hoping keeping it real basic might actually get an answer as I think it's unlikely they're able to provide much detail around those tonight.
