I play this game unconventional to most others, I learn thru trial, error, poor theory crafting and getting annihilated, I get pissed off, rage quit & come back again the next day with my afterthoughts to improve. Anyhow thru my quest of learning the tactics of the game, experimenting, failing, etc. As a known debugger, I become aware of the problems many may never see. I come to the conclusion that this product idea would create massive success for the game for new players to get educated, learn, and become fans of the game...

After a couple weeks now of playing an hour or so a night, What I find I am most unskilled in still at this time, is what some classes actually do. For example, if you were to ask me, What is Revenant? I honestly could not answer... Obviously the game is not finished etc, and information will be available in game, but I feel this is a weak point when it comes to new players hanging around before quitting..

A pictorial book to feed this info embeds that image in the brain, that allows the player to retain that information.
new players need a lot of focus, not all of them come from the community and get the meta/etc. They click play and can quit quickly if things don't make sense. IMO, This should be a major focus of marketing, retention... Get them the info they need to succeed...0

This book IMO would provide the direct lore to the classes and affinities in the game, while providing amazing illustrations the Illuvium dev team can provide, creating massive imaginative powers to the players that go down that dreamy road of creating mystical powers .

Example:
Having a Illustration of Verminio blasting out tail whip and a SHIELD for its surrounding allies, would open my eyes for tons future strategies instead of sending it solo to attack an invoker on the back line by itself. A strategy that I would never knew existed until that image was seen, and a lightbulb in my head appears

What ya think?

Hey ZigZag,
Absolutely yes!!! I think this is a fantastic addition to help imprint those details into the brain.
I'm a similar learner many others are too.
If they haven't already got something like this planned I see it as a quality improvement for sure.

A picture tells a thousand words. I absolutely agree.
