Hey Everyone, Been loving the grind in arena and wanted to throw out some ideas. Not trying to force these via IIp or anything, but love to hear what y'all think and if the team has tried any of these.

1.) Evolving Illuvials - I think it would be a really interesting mechanic to test out not having a fee for evolving our illuvials. If you are to have a flare and a singe you should only pay the difference in evolution not the 25% refund fee. I think this would allow for a who new deck building path around evolving your team. This aligns better with Autochess gameplay and could make decks have really cool mid game decisions around should I just drop augments and finish my opponent or evolve and fight for late game.
2.) Variable Mastery Point Structure - I think the early game is too rigid and planed. I think having a variation in mastery points from game to game could make the first 3 rounds feel less planned and actually involve predicting, adapting, and placements. Players would need to build teams in a way that were more not so increasing the the situations to plan for. Would make each game feel a little more unique.
3.) Extend Late game This is just a personal preference, but I like having longer games. with more turns competing on position and placement. These also brough more enjoyment to me. Perhaps more Hp for the drone or less damage from the illuvials.
4.) Time Banking - If you finish before the round timer ends you will accumulate time that can be used in future rounds.
5.) Starting Elo - I think the starting Elo should be lower. I think it is a bad experience for a new player to be playing and get crushed the first couple games. This can feel demotivating and very abrasive. Especially with the way the numbers look. I have heard rumors of placements matches which would also achieve the goal.
6.) Battle Pass/Win Rewards - (Not to be confused with leaderboard rewards which have already been announced) I think there are rumors that something along these lines will also be implemented, but I believe it would be really good to have a battle pass or loot boxes that can be earned as you collect wins no matter what rank you are. I would also suggest that if loot boxes are implemented we should look at games like cs:go where they can be sold as boxes(NFTS) or opened and player will receive reward(probably just emotes)
QOL(Some of these may already be in the works):
1.) Selecting units can be difficult, there should be an easier way to select them. Perhaps having Icons on the side of the board representing each illuvial we can just click or drag augments on that is clear
2.) Suits and ranger should not be a drag and drop If we click on the cards it should just swap the weapons. Or there should be a separate window to look at these items maybe bring the old ranger in addition to current method.
3.) Ranger should not be a unit that highlights when you are trying to drag augments on to illuvials. it should be an invisible unit to them if possible.
4.) Weapon should be availible to swap if the current ranger equipment would make up for the difference in cost. It is frustrating and confusing to have to equip the 0mp weapon or suit then the new weapon or suit.

I've played Illuvium Arena for over 500 matches now, and I'm one of the true believers. I know the game might be so much better if they made just a few simple changes. At the moment, you can do almost all your planning well before the game, and have it all laid out on a spreadsheet. The best Team wins. That has to change, variety and positionin...
