Hey All,

We've all been thinking it... What do we do with all these f'ing clown noses we've amassed? What if... we had...

🔥 The Great Clown Nose Burn-Off: The player who burns the most clown noses wins a special prize - maybe a unique 1/1 battleboard? But that's not all.

🎁 Rewards for Everyone Else: To make sure everyone gets a piece of the action, there will be tiered prizes:

Burn 20 noses = earn a Wave 2 pack.
Burn 40 noses, snag a lower-tier battle board.
Go big with 80, and you're looking at a special beyond cosmetic item to add to your PFP.

These burn levels/prizes are just examples I am pulling from thin air, so I am sure we can apply some data to get to the right levels.

In addition, we can set community-wide goals like you did with the d1sks. Anyway, just an idea I thought worth sharing and one that would help drive some revenue for the DAO with increased aftermarket activity.

Battleboards take significant time to develop. Think 10K hours. So giving those away for a small event puts a major strain on the team.

  • there is an idea to burn Illuvitars and accessories to gain substance that you can use in the rest of the ecosystem.

I think the majority of community/ team agree that burning clown noses is good. But it may be better to do so in a less big way.

20 noses for 1 d1sk? You can sell noses for 0.01 cent, while a d1sk costs 6$. There is no way that makes sense. It will just inflate supply in that wave which reks all investors.

So, good idea to burn the useless assets, team is on it and has given it a twist that works in the ecosystem 🙂

beautiful. Good to hear...yea the numbers were just hypothetical, and wow 10k hours for 1 battleboard! Thats insane, and I will cherish them even more now lol

In all seriousness, we could Partner with the Red Nose Foundation (.org) to raise money for underprivileged youth with big dreams. Those who wanted to participate could donate a Red nosed Illuvitar to a custodian wallet then auction them...

Or submit them for worldwide off-chain voting and the winning Illuvitar becomes an Illuvial on Red Nose Island, just off the Crimson Wastes.

For every donated Red Nose nft, Illuvium contributes xx funds to the foundation. No excuses... only solutions is what a boss once told me.

I have been stacking some lf those Tier 1 accessories including the less than $0.01 clown noses

Last I heard there have been plans to utilize unused accessories in some compacity (illuvium Zero)

I think this idea is too focused and should be more broad and allow the team to share their thoughts and ideas:

"ACCESSORY BURNING 🔥 for so and so rewards" this would include any and all accessories and allows them to set the rewards they feel match the requirements- however based on my time anything that takes away from dev time for Open Beta will be met with push back from all parties (community, council and Team)
