  • Incredibly normie-unfriendly
  • Doesn’t have to be at the protocol layer, can just be on UI
  • I.e. nothing changes on the backend, just refer to it differently on the frontend m
  • “Illuvibucks” or gems or whatever normal gaming bs is much more easily digested by non-crypto-autists
  • Has to be something that makes sense plastered on a gift card

sILV2 must be on a protocol level, if I remember correctly, it's volume interchangeable with regular ILV. But yeah, as in-game currency it has a stinky flavor to it (what happened with sILV1 for example 🧐 )
But can it have only UI naming? I'm not sure. But I'm sure it has to have a pleasant and easy-to-refer name so people don't mind over it much

I think is better like this, sILV2…maybe some non-crypto decide to became a yes-crypto and decide to make more research, for new people will be confusion to understand why in game the mane is diferent by blockchain, also they can be scam more easy…because difference of name

I'd be inclined to agree if sILV2 was intended to be a long term part of Illuvium's ecosystem, but it's not. After yield, sILV2 will slowly go away, unless we do something that creates more ways to obtain sILV2.

Consider that the current model means most players will spend ETH (on Fuel, trading, etc.)

I expect silv2 to be silv0 because it's completely gone within a month of launch basically so probably not worth doing much with. it's a crypto players only coupon token anyways since web2 people and newbies likely won't touch it before it's gone

I’ll take usd or any other major currency tbh especially over eth until 2040 when they maybe finish making it a network that was worth using right now. Really whatever has the lowest cost and friction to spend
