A distress beacon lights up on your map. You have some time to rush in and help the fellow ranger. If you get there in time, they give you a disk with data as a reward.
- Will increase the interoperability from overworld to beyond.
- Will add extra value to some runs and create excitement.
P.S. Maybe this beacon shows up when the death globe starts. Increasing the challenge, thus limiting the disk inflation.
P.S. Maybe helping the ranger requires energy, so it's more of a choice whether you want the disk or the materials/illuvials.
