Simple Summary:

This proposal sets final parameters for Promo D1SKs and extends the launch window for Illuvitars Wave 2.

Overview:

A top-tier gaming partner has been identified by Illuvium Labs and approved by the IMC for Illuvitar Wave 2 Promo D1SKs. For effective engagement with the partner community, an extension is needed to allow marketing activations to occur for the Promo sale.

The new end date for Illuvium Wave 2, including the completion of the Promo sale will be January 15, 2024. Improvements based on community feedback from the Wave 1 Promo D1SKs will be incorporated into the Wave 2 Promo D1SKs including the quantity and type of assets.

Dang @crisp sluice lots of haste around this proposal. I thought i had more time to vote on snapshot lol

It hasnt even been 24 hours since the town hall. But you are right that my vote wouldnt have made any difference whether i was opposed or not.

It isnt a small thing though, so i wouldve liked to give people more time to voice their opinions.
A lot of people may only have time in the weekends to reply or be active in these, quite critical, conversations. It has been only 2 days for community feedback. That is unnecessarily short imo.

Very fair 🙂 thought i could just delay the voting to marketing by 1 day orso to give people more time to mull things over, watch the townhall and share their thoughts 🙂

The marketing sub council has to decide prior to taking on the voting whether they would like to make revisions after all, which probably would be based on community input.

I dont think it matters too much but its a bit hurried is all. though i get it with your time constraints and us wanting to formally approve the wave 2 extension to plan the next moves with the promotional partner.

This doesn’t have to do with pushing the proposal through to me at all haha, I have time constraints to make posts, get snapshots live, ping the relevant parties to confirm things, beyond other responsibilities. This is simply a “I had time and people available to do this right now and wouldn’t later and it’s already passed”

I predicted this push back but as I said I’m in a bind as there is only 24 hours in a day and the world is supposedly round so we have timezones and I’m in in the closest one to Hawaii 😂
