#burn land for mega cities

I'm sorry, I know it's hard for you guys coming in later trying to get a city but during land sale those of us forming cities paid a lot more for our land in order to get it done. Hopefully blocks will be sold together in the future to give people a chance to get cities.
Should just depend on the number burned no? Like if you paid 2X for your land in sale, a burn could be 5 lands burned for 1 land in the city
I’m not sure how this would work on the map. The plots are in a fixed position and fixed size. How could it be reoriented to have plots at random places burned to have them suddenly side by side?
FWIW, I'm not a new land buyer, I bought during the original land sale too, and paid full price ETH instead of discounted SILV2.
I get that land value has gone down, and I do think we can / should find ways to reward original land buyers (possibly similar to ethlizard genesis vs venture lizards) , but when the team implements megacities, I think it would be better to remove as many barriers to entry as possible, and promote adoption.
A hard cap of 100k lands will be a pretty scarce resource, if we get mainstream adoption.
There's a couple parts to this:
With 80k lands still to be revealed, I imagine there's some flexibility with this. You could add a new property to the map, gray spaces. You can't buy a gray space (so retain 100k upper limit), but if you purchase land adjacent to a gray space you can extend out on that section.
Game lore seems to permit phasing Illuviuals in and out of existance / or between worlds, so this may be synergistic idea.
If a player burns a land to create a megacity on a gray space, the original location could become available for another player (adjacent to the burnt land) to create a new megacity.
