Unclaimed rewards effectively function as burnt anyways, until they are claimed. It's much safer to give people the option to claim when they get around to it, and leave unclaimed rewards pending.

if there is a time limit to the ilv to be claimed, better to handle these ilv as part of the dao treasury.

I have one wallet that was mostly out of ILV staking by the start of v2 that has less than 1ilv missed/claimable. I had hoped to completely remove any need to use it in like 30 days after I withdraw final vesting and claim a couple sILV2. But now if I claim it’s trapped again. I’m considering not claiming that <1ilv.
