In order to engage excitement with the Beyond ecosystem I suggest we increase the rewards distribution to the top 200 beyond collectors instead of keeping it only to the top 100.
My suggestion is simple, everything stays the same for the top 100 and we distribute 1 standard disk for the 101-200 collectors.
Keeping the same structure as in wave 1, having the rewards reduced in half for each step of the ladder would mean that for the 101-200 players they should be getting around 0.25 ILV. At current prices ($ILV = 42$) and with mega disks priced at 30$ which is higher than the 0.25 ILV I suggest we go for standard disks keeping this a more conservative approach that still will lead to great benefits overall.
If this is implemented we will have 100 standard disks distributed every week which totals 1200 standard disks after the 3 month period. In case waves don't follow each other right away like it's being the case right now between wave 1 and wave 2, if we had 1 gap month or 2 between waves this will put a total of 1600 or 2000 stantard disks respectively.
In the big scheme of things I think 2000 standard disks is nothing compared to the 132,526 sold in wave 1 and something simple as this will motivate more players to bond their illuvitars and try to climb up the leaderboard. I think it's easy to assume only the top 100 players will be bonding their wave 2 illuvitars if nothing changes for wave 2.
There were already talks about the idea to see your current rank which I think it's a no-brainer that should have already been implement but this goes even further to motivate the competitive spirit and engagement with the Illuvium Beyond collection game.
I don't think this will be something hard to implement or that will take much time from the team and it surely will bring even greater adoption and excitement overall.
I'm not seeing any down sides with this but I could be missing something.
Let me know what you guys think and let's make Illuvium Beyond Great!
