Just informing that this new mode is quicker and more 1v1 than Regular TFT, even though we're still 8 in a lobby.
I just tested it and it's GREAT! Maybe Illuvium could take some inspiration from this for a potential tournament mode or even regular PvP?
Edit: the name is actually Soul Brawl, Super Brawl is something else in the TFT ecosystem.

How do you think illuvium can incorporate this?
I'm all for a FFA mode that allows similar experience to TFT.
But all of this is extra work.

hence why i've posted this as "Future Idea". It does not make part of the minimum viable product, that we need to launch.
Still since we are designing our PvP mode right now, maybe there are some ideas from that mode that our Game Design team can decide to add to illuvium, what they judge themselves fit to our game and their vision, and respects our timelines 🙂
Just sharing this for feedback/Future idea purposes. No intent on making this an IIP whatsoever and this has nothing to do with governance. Just sharing since like you say, not everyone follows TFT 🙂

Honestly think this is one thats kinda hard to explain to someone unless they play TFT, curious what @twin fossil's thoughts would be on the idea though since he both plays TFT and is on the Team and involved in PvP somewhat

Watched the video but I am not a TFT player. So it looked like organized chaos hahaha. I like tourney structure. Might be a cool mode if 'sit n go' gambling structure is allowed. I know the council is looking at that type of betting if that would be allowed. Thnaks for bringing this up Zeptyle

This is just a single elim, best of 3, 8 person tournament bracket. There's nothing revolutionary here other than you have some buildup time before the bracket starts. There are plenty of possibilities for tournament modes in Illuvium eventually, but I don't see this new TFT mode containing much relevance to building out the actual pvp structure for Illuvium.
