Everyone who plays Halo online knows about the Forge creator mode, where you can create maps and game modes however you want. Recently, Fortnite came out with their own version, often referred to as "UFEN," which allows you to create your own little islands with your own rules.
Illuvium is building out the "Illuvium Zoo," a collection of assets that are usable between team members to create a consistent look/vibe when creating the regions or other parts of the ecosystem like ILZ.
Considering all the cool movement mechanics, future multiplayer, and the asset zoo, it just makes sense to open up everything, at some point, to the community to be able to create our own experiences in Illuvium.
Obviously, it's far into the future and I don't know what it would look like, but some ideas could be:
- People could create a sliding competition with obstacles
- A gliding contest
- A shootout game mode
- grappling over canyons
- Etc... so many ideas possible (especially combined with Illuvials)
Also:
- $ILV holders get access to the builder/asset zoo.
- $ILV holders can vote on integrating those experiences (case by case) to add to the Illuvium Universe App (an - - App that connects the whole ecosystem, including games, merch, and whatever else belongs to the IP).
- Creators could mint the experiences and sell them on the open market.
- Creators could set a fee for playing the experience (2% of fees go to the DAO)
This could help keep the content for the ecosystem fresh. Keeping it exciting over decades. Which would also save a lot time for DEVs.
Just thought I'd throw the idea out there for people to ponder on 😄
