First of all congratulations to the team for what you have accomplished in such a short time

🦝 Two main ideas:

  1. Add identical monsters to resources

The first idea is based on the observation that when we travel Overworld we do not encounter any stress related to danger. 🧐

But this perceived stress is I think fundamental to generate an attraction for a player and a constancy in his frequency of play.👍

Because when we overcome or pass the danger, there is a feeling of pride, pleasure, happiness, linked I think to the secretion of dopamine. 🙅

→ to fill this, it is necessary in my opinion to create creatures/monsters (Wolf, bear etc) identical to the resources, in the sense that we can perceive them with the infrared sight, these creatures can attack us, and touch them several times with our weapon allows you to loot elements (tiger claw, wolf fur, etc.) useful in the various crafts of the game already in place. (like ore or plants)

🦆 2) Put Illuvials in Overworld 🧑‍🎨

I know this idea is under development as announced in the "leak" channel by Grant on 04/28/2023 06:03.

This improvement will be important for me, it will add life to the overworld (currently no other consciousness than our character).

I just want to mention two ideas that for me could be game-changing:

a) Illuvials should not be visible by infrared view. 🌝

Indeed, finding the illuvials by ourselves, without the help of the infrared sight, will make the game much more immersive.

We should look behind the trees, on top of the mountain, in the corners; sharpen our sense of observation by paying particular attention to spot them. 🐿️

Finding the iluvials by ourselves without the help of the infrared sight would create a lot more emotion in the player, with the infrared sight it would lose its charm

When we were doing egg hunts as kids, there's a lot more fun finding them without knowing where they are.

b) The illuvial found is the only one that can be captured 🏃

I don't know how the illuvium team intends to deal with the illuvial that will appear compared to the set in the fight.

It's a bit strange that an illuvial seen in overworld, houses 5-6 others during the fight that can be captured.

I think a good way would be for the illuvial seen in Overworld to be the only catchable one at the end of the fight.

It would allow :

  • that the illuvial seen in physics has at least one additional characteristic to the others being with it in the fight (that of being captureable)

  • increase the intensity of the emotion felt by the player at the sight of the illuvial (association of the physical beauty of the illuvial with the awareness of knowing that it can be captured)

  • not having to check all the illuvials found to see if they harbor the one you want to capture
