Illuvium World

Allow me to propose the concept of a grand-scale urban development simulation, transcending the confines of modern city builders.

Envision an expansive, open world city builder, incorporating the vast overworld landscape, Illuvium Zero edifices, and Illuvials into its gameplay mechanics.

You commence your journey into your chosen region equipped with a sophisticated builder robot. Your task is to meticulously scout for an optimal location to establish and construct your base. This base, reminiscent of Illuvium Zero in its design, operates on a significantly grander scale, as you assume the 3rd person perspective of the ranger.

Within your fortified base, you have the ability to deploy defensive towers, some of which possess autonomous control, while others necessitate your direct involvement or the assistance of an Illuvial companion. Additionally, you are empowered to construct formidable barriers and cunning traps, thus fortifying your base in a manner befitting optimal security. Considerably, you may even elect to distribute your acquired spoils across the expansive territory in which your base resides.

Beyond engaging in resource gathering and defensive endeavors, you possess the capability to fabricate offensive units, encompassing a diverse array of vehicles, drones, and similar apparatuses, which shall serve as your means of traversing through portals connecting your base to neighboring regions.

As you traverse the captivating landscape, you stumble upon rival bases, affording you the opportunity to meticulously observe and strategize your forthcoming assault. At times, you may decide to return to your own base in order to summon reinforcements, bolstering your chances of success.

When initiating an attack, you employ your formidable assortment of robots, drones, and Illuvials, plundering the enemy's riches while meticulously executing your raid. The thrill of combat and resource acquisition intertwines, generating a sense of anticipation and excitement of live action gameplay.

In the event that your base becomes the target of an enemy assault, you hastily equip yourself with suitable armaments and actively participate in the ensuing battle. Assuming control of turrets and skillfully directing Illuvials toward the encroaching foe, you valiantly strive to defend your base against the onslaught.

In essence, this concept can be likened to a heightened iteration of Clash of Clans, imbued with exhilarating features and mechanisms that elevate its overall intensity and complexity.

In a future iteration, players can come together to construct shared bases, combining their individual strengths and resources to create a formidable stronghold. Collaborative efforts would involve coordinated defensive strategies, resource sharing, and joint offensive campaigns, further enhancing the immersive and social aspects of Illuvium.

@delicate oar What do you think? We could flatten a few areas of the regions to make space for base building. Build paths where vehicles could travel. Use components from IZ to construct a base. Add in defensive/ offensive structures. Customise illuvials to be react like COC characters. Build out more weapons for the ranger and allow them to travel across regions into neighbouring bases all from a 3rd person perspective.

People would stream the F out of that game.

I can't say that the concept isn't cool, but it seems a completely different game from what they are building. Those changes are not easy at all, we would be speaking of a lot of dev time I guess, and changing the current "finished" regions doesnt help?
A good concept imo, but far far away of possibilities I guess
