I played the overworld PB2 and have a idea for the game to make it more engaging. Make the illuvium overworld more dynamic with some critters, small animals or random people or NPCs relevant to lore wandering around or doing their own thing. The plants and the landscape are beautiful, but they are mostly static features. The overworld unlike zero game needs to have more dynamic elements in it.
For example in games like World of Warcraft, there are whimsical, silly and amusing characters that players can notice but they don't have any real in-game value or relevance - like a cow roaming around etc.

I agree with pretty much everything you said but it is crucial to bear in mind that the Overworld component of the game is still in its developmental stages and has not yet reached its intended "monster hunter" state. The Overworld experience offered during the Private Beta 2 phase will undergo significant transformations before the open beta, and these changes will likely be even more substantial when comparing it to the final version of the game.

All good! Don't feel discouraged from throwing your ideas out there though. It's rare but the team looks over things sometimes and it's important people like you keep pushing out ideas. You are very much appreciated Atlas_Love

We do see stuff eventually but it can take some time: there are a lot of things to look at (and there are way more internal threads than public ones 🙂 ).

Been a long time since I was involved in the OW design, but adding more stuff in to the OW to bring the world to life is a key concern.

One thing to note we don't want to expose story elements yet as the story has a lot of mystery to be exposed over time. These story elements will help to add life and more direction to the OW gameplay.
