I’ve mentioned this one before though wanted to bring it back up because I think it’s a valuable addition.

While battles are usually viewed from a top-down perspective, zooming in on specific Illuvials or sections of the board creates a much more compelling experience. Despite this, I haven't seen many streamers taking advantage of this feature. Perhaps they can’t be bothered, or maybe they're more interested in viewing the entire board. But for onlookers, a close-up view of a battle is much more entertaining.

I propose adding a cinematic mode with two options: locked or unlocked. Unlocked starts on your ranger then pivots to track another illuvial every x seconds. Though in locked mode it remains on the ranger until you tap left or right in which it would go to track the next character. Zoom length would be auto unless the player presses forward or back.

Down the line, we could add even more cool features like Illuvial intros, motion effects, and a whip pan shot to reveal a powerful Illuvial about to unleash their omega ability. With these additions, battles would feel like an animated fight scene straight out of a TV show or movie.

I believe this would be an amazing addition to the experience and would help further entertain and immerse players.

We already built this. Doesn’t work like you suggest though. It allows you to move the camera and it records the position. Then it replays the match step my step and renders it with much higher settings than your compute can handle real time. It takes about 5 mins.

With regards to a real time “track interesting action” mode it is something on our list but WAY down the priorities. Don’t expect it any time close to launch. For now, just move your camera as you wish.
