@mighty timber : Hello! I'm Patrick, aka Illuvination, Paz, or Pat. As a Game Sub-Council nominee, I am excited to offer my expertise to the DAO and Community.
With a strong passion for gaming and a computer science background from a technical college, I learned major programming languages such as C++, C, Java, and C#. This equipped me with knowledge in various software development aspects, including programming and project development. As a result, I gained an understanding of game development processes, enabling me to assess game mechanics and pinpoint key elements to make games more enjoyable and captivating.
In addition to my education, I have experience as a software tester, which helped sharpen my attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
I've accumulated over 30,000 hours of gaming experience, including many games relevant to Illuvium. For example, Teamfight Tactics, Hearthstone, World of Warcraft, Warcraft III, and it's custom Maps, which were the forerunners to games like League of Legends and Autobattlers. This has given me a deep understanding of diverse gameplay styles and mechanics.
Focusing on multiplayer online games, which incorporate in-game economy, has further expanded my understanding of the challenges involved in creating balanced and engaging game systems.
In recent years, I switched my focus to the Web3 space, learning about smart contracts, Blockchain technology, DAOs, and DeFi.
Through my YouTube channel, I have gained deep knowledge of Illuvium by producing gameplay, tutorials, and community-driven content like AMA's with Kieran. 300 uploaded videos demonstrate my commitment and dedication to Illuvium.
My professional background includes working in collaborative settings, in direct face-to-face contact with customers and clients, where I've refined my abilities in communication, teamwork, and problem resolution. I feel comfortable handling stressful situations, taking on responsibility, and I am dedicated to upholding transparency, ethical decision-making, and prioritizing the long-term success of Illuvium over personal preference.

@gray merlin : Hey ILV fam this Anthony Faust, AKA Tailless, and I am nominating myself for the Gaming Sub-Council. My love of gaming began in 1990, when I was 5, with the release of Super Mario Bros 3 on the NES. I have played almost every genre of game over my 30+ years of gaming. This love of playing games also turned into an intrigue of how they also worked as I grew up.
I started coding when I was a Junior in High School with Visual Basic, when I recreated a small Minesweeper clone game. My Senior year I learned C++ and recreated the first level of Super Mario Bros 1. When I attended college, which unfortunately I never finished, my major was for Computer Science and Engineering. I took another C++ course my Freshman year of college and programmed a 3 level Super Mario Bros game.
Even though I never finished my education in a formal way, I still programmed off and on while I was playing Final Fantasy XI for gear macros. This is how I learned how to code in XML and LUA languages. I have also learned some Pine Script recently because of playing around with ChatGPT and TradingView.
I believe I will be a good fit on the Gaming Sub-Council because of this drive to keep learning how video games are made and all the new tech that is used to create them. It helps that I believe this project and the community are the GREATEST in Web3. I want to help be a bridge between the dev team and the community ideas, while hopefully, suggesting some key additions of my own.

@uneven root :
Cavan ""Caveman"" Roe: 18 months ago, I left my ""in real-life"" job to manage an Illuvium gaming guild. The world of Web 3 gaming captivated me, and I'm eager to contribute back to the studio and community.
I nominate myself for the Game Sub-council to share my full-time GameFi knowledge and experience. I have been deeply involved with the Illuvium community and the wider industry:
Game Dev Experience:
Flew to the UK to Participate in the IMX Hackathon, where I developed an Unreal
Engine game, minted NFTs on Goerli Testnet, and placed Runner-Up in the competition.
Created rough prototype games in UE5/C++ Action RPGs and racing games.
Degrees in Aerospace Engineering and Master’s in Business Administration.
Web 3 Experience:
Tested 70+ Web3 games at various stages: Pre-alpha, Alpha, Beta, and Live.
Read and analyzed 130+ gaming project whitepapers.
Written reports, articles, and produced YouTube videos discussing news and pros/cons of numerous Web3 games.
Gaming Experience:
Avid gamer for 20+ years, beginning with Nintendo playing every console since.
Enjoy nearly all genres (excluding romance; no Illuvium Hearts Ablaze proposals coming from me).
Ranked in the top 1% or higher in competitive leagues for Halo, StarCraft, League of Legends, Team Fight Tactics. Also, one of the top Illuvium Survival Players.
I understand how blockchain can enhance gaming and plan to leverage the lessons learned from Web3 and Web2 game successes and failures. I will support and propose initiatives promoting engaging gameplay, a balanced economy, and mechanics with the broadest appeal to our global crypto and non-crypto audience.
Acknowledging the development time required for all decisions, I will push to create a comprehensive database of DAO ideas and prioritize them. My ultimate goal is to ensure Illuvium players of all wallet sizes and competitive levels can fully enjoy the game.

@queen raft : My name is Tom, also known as The_Comedian, and I am excited to announce that I will be running for a spot on the Gaming Sub-Council in the upcoming Illuvium DAO Council elections.
I have a strong gaming background, having played for the past 20 years, and I am particularly proud of my achievement of being in the top 0.01% of World of Tanks players.
Over the past 10 years, I have won multiple tournaments and worked alongside the community to help make that game better. Throughout my career, I have been highly dedicated to testing the game and providing feedback to the developers, including identifying potential flaws.
As I've come to appreciate the importance of digital ownership, I've recognized the immense potential of this game, and I'd like to offer my expertise to help make it even better. With my background in economics, I recognize the significance of a sustainable in-game economy to ensure a game's long-term success.
I strongly believe that Illuvium can benefit from ideas already implemented in the web2 gaming space.
I have been involved in the community since December 2021. Several months ago, I began creating entertaining and educational content on YouTube.

@fringe pebble :
It's Stephen aka SJUD aka ILV God aka Mr. Humble. I'm a professional cryptocurrency trader and Web3 gamer. I'm a lifelong strategy game player starting with Magic the Gathering at 8 years old when I played my first tournament and got last place, but won the random raffle for a tournament pack prize. Sometimes it is better to be lucky than good but thankfully I've improved since then in multiple card games including Elder Scrolls Legends and Artifact. I then made the transition to autobattlers as a top ranked Dota Underlords and Illuvium player. Throughout my journey in Illuvium, I have shown prowess as a player (topping the leaderboards in Arena) and offered Coaching to other players looking to hone & improve their skills. As an esports team member/Captain, I have shared expertise & knowledge, helping to bring us all to the next level.
Shameless Accomplishment Bragging Section:
Dota Underlords:
World Rank #1 Knockout Player
World Rank #1 Duos Player (with Kyle aka itsMartini as my teammate)
Illuvium:
#1 Overall Rank in Private Beta 1
2nd Place = 5k Illuvium Private Beta Tournament
1st Place = Polemos Community Tournament #1
3rd Place = XBorg and Ethlizards Illuvium Showdown #1
2nd Place = XBorg and Ethlizards Illuvium Showdown #2
1st Place = XBorg and Ethlizards Illuvium Showdown #3
I was also a consultant for Valve for about 6 months working with the developers on their autochess game Dota Underlords. I used my knowledge to help with the design and function of new Units/Underlords, balance changes for frequent patches, and overall bug fixing.
From an economics, game design, and game playing background I believe I have all the skills needed to utilize the council member position to help make Illuvium the great game it has the potential to be

@craggy helm : My passion for gaming and my experience in the industry make me a strong candidate for this role. I believe that gaming is an essential part of our lives, and it should be enjoyable and accessible for everyone.
Throughout my career, I have worked on various gaming projects, from development to marketing. I have seen firsthand how the industry has evolved and how technology has changed the way we play games. I am impressed with the current development team and the work they have done in creating a platform that enables gamers to connect and play together seamlessly.
I have been a gamer for 25+ years and have seen all the highs and lows. I have seen the change in gaming from an obscure hobby, to entertainment to competitive sports. I have felt the pains of producers destroying a franchise through not listening to their player base. I will advocate for players first and foremost and strive to give a voice to those who want to be playing Illuvium for years to come.

@solid crystal : Hello, I'm Erikagloom, and I make content for the Italian Illuvium community. I'm running for the sub-council of Gaming. My vision for the council is for it to be made up of multi-potential, professional people. Instead of a developer or gamer point of view, I propose myself as an aesthetic / artistic + storytelling point of view that allow me to be a joker and a link between various aspects of different games.
I am endowed with intelligence and curiosity which allows me to assimilate new technologies in a short time and it is a very useful feature in web3 and in the world of AI where everything moves and changes very quickly.
I immediately liked the Illuvium project both for the moral on which it was built and for the unique point of view of web3 gaming. But my critical thinking allows me to analyze strengths and weaknesses, how things can be screwed up and I have the desire to dissect problems and propose solutions.
My strengths are knowing how to work as a team and not fight for dominance, preferring the flexibility of mediation to achieve goals in concrete times.

@distant tusk : Heyo! I'm Steven, better known as Patate around here. I am writing this to offer my expertise and passion to the community as a Game Sub-Council member.
I breathe passion, dedication, and hard work in everything I do since I'm a kid. For my gaming background, I have always played one game at a time for extensive periods and became a top-level player at that game. Those games were Pokémon, Mario Kart, Minecraft, Clash of Clans, Hearthstone, Clash Royale, Brawl Stars, and Counter-Strike.
As I got into my late teens, playing video games sadly couldn't make the cut in my time management due to my OCD of being extremely productive and becoming my best self. My video game then became online poker. I rose the stakes very fast and became a semi-professional working in many communities and study groups with professionals.
The future was very bright in this avenue, but when I discovered Illuvium and got my beta access at the very beginning, my world changed.
To me, Illuvium is at the very front edge of the Web3/GameFi revolution. I quit poker completely without hesitation and went all-in in Illuvium with the goal of becoming the best I can and helping as many as I can along the way.
I became one of the very best players in the Arena very fast and still am to this day. I am proud to be the leader of one of the biggest, strongest, and most active Illuvium guilds.
This is not about me, though. The broad strategic mission of the Council is to be the voice of the community. I sincerely believe in the potential of a DAO structure. Governance v2 is an amazing upgrade, but we have to make sure we don't lose sight of our real mission as council members.
Being the leader of one of the fastest-growing and most active communities focused on Illuvium and being a top player in the game itself, I believe I am in a perfect place to represent the voice of the community in the game aspect.
In doing so, directly with the community, I am naturally always in a state of studying the Illuvium games and thinking about what we need/want as a community.
It truly is an honor to offer my passion to you and give my all to represent the community in order to make the best game in the world that we all believe Illuvium can be.
Vote for the community!
