Ever had a small suggestion or helpful tip about marketing that didn't quite justify it's own Idea thread?
Maybe you have found a new tool that tracks/rates high volume influencers on different platforms?
Maybe you have a suggestion on something to add to the next Illuvium Showcase?
Maybe you have found a quality influencer that shares Illuvium's values, but doesn't know about Illuvium yet?
Maybe you just received some juicy alpha from your favorite Core Contributor and think it should be posted on the official Illuvium Twitter?

What ever little suggestion you may have, this is a space you can share it. We are a DAO and every little suggestion can benefit us all.
(Yes, I was inspired with this concept from Splendors "Creature Suggestion Channel").

One suggestion I have is an ‘Illuvitalks’ style show, with Council Members as the panellists and the topic being previously passed IIP/ICCPs (e.g. all the ones relating to Illuvitars). Some fun content thrown in for engagement (e.g. high power Illuvitars, highest sales, interesting discord comments). The goal would be to highlight the Illuvium DAO’s brand, mission and values more than selling the games/product. If it were me I'd call it "Illuvium Insider", but that title is probable reserved for a Core Contributor 'Day in the life of' spinoff. Atlas_Love

Would it work if the Illuvium Twitter account posted shorts of Influencers content? When someone from the Illuvium Team / Council does an interview on youtube they are usually 30-60 minutes long and cover a lot of topics. I know some of the hosts also break these up into shorter 5-10 minute videos, and sometimes 30-60 second shorts. All of this is great, especially the shorts. My thought is that when someone offical is dropping alpha or explaining a complex topic very well, then this is something that everyone following the Illuvium twitter account would want to see. It would help the influencers twitter following (because you dont want to direct traffic off platform) and it would help the community discuss/share this valuable information. Also, shorts (especially with captions) make great content. Eventually I think that shorts like this could also be used to capture the Illuvium DAO brand, for example if a Core Contributor speak passionately about why they are part of the project.

Hey! that's a great Channel Idea!
Not that much of a fan of your actual Marketing Ideas though or more accurately of the way you present them to us... 😦

First suggestion's target audience is only a tiny portion of the Illuvium Community. That target audience being mostly composed of people who already read and engage with every single IIP/ICCP chat. Council Members don't make good numbers as "panellists", look at the number of views of Nominees Interviews by @sage patio. I could be tempted by this Idea though if it was sold to me for it's educational purposes, on making content that might influence people's financial or governance related decisions easier to access (which is why it's a good thing that TSG keeps putting time and effort in interviewing the nominees epoch after epoch despite the low number of views it generates) .

And the second Idea kinda shares the flaws with the previous one: The Idea itself is great but imho not for the reasons you explain there.

Idk about taking time from the core contributors to make these shorts (just doesn't seem very appealing to me as I know they're already very busy but also because the ones that wanted to be public faces for Illuvium are the ones we already know) but on the Influencers content being posted on the official Twitter, I would have a few improvements to suggest:

  1. Instead of "posting" it, the Illuvium Twitter could just Retweet the initial post from the content creator. This way we ensure that ONLY official information and content is actually posted by the twitter account, while retweet literally shows that the company supports this kind of content. This would perfectly align with the intent of building an organic marketing network for Illuvium but also with the past and current will to support our content creators that keep striving and producing content even during "dead times" by giving them more exposure and potential growth opportunity.
  2. Point number 1 would be the main reason for me to be seduced by this Idea but you didn't mention it at all 😦
  3. We need to consider the branding image as well as we don't want Illuvium's twitter to "just" become a place to promote our content creators, so i'd include limitations to this Idea, like make it be a Content sunday, where every sunday one short is selected based on quality and trends. This way most of the feed remains OFFICIAL content, informations and announcemens.

So here's my honest feedback on your very good ideas and please keep sharing more of them so that we can discuss them and improve.

Hey @fresh ledge, I’m very sorry but this is not how this forum works. 1 ideas per post, this is how to best share your ideas, this is not an effective way to get yours ideas across.

# next raven Yes the sub-councils will have their own separate chats they can chat amongst th...

obvi they will have their own private sub-council chats

but the only way to bring something forward to a specific sub-council is with a tag seems like a really poor system to navigate for the community with all the sub council stuff all in one place as far as the community perspective is concerned

Why not create entirely separate forums for each, imo way clearer for the community to navigate and participate in (especially since right now I doubt many even know how to navigate by tags and its generally not intuitive imo)

Pretty intuitive

or keep things as they are and just make new chats for each sub-council that is a public chat for the community to chat with those specific sub council members without necessarily bringing forward a specific idea, that at least?

And another issue is discord does have a channel limit and if we can limit adding more channels where we have other solutions it’s a good idea

Forums have their own limitations

We can create threads the in the governance area for each sub council
