Community Sub-Council:

@spiral thicket : As a person with close experience with individuals on the autism spectrum and other neurodivergent individuals, I have developed exceptional listening skills and empathy. These skills enable me to fully understand the arguments and perspectives of everyone, even if they are flawed. I have the ability to recognize the underlying root cause of an argument and adjust their perspective or come up with a different solution to the original problem. I deeply care about everyone in the community and am determined to help every voice, even the quiet ones, feel heard and actually be heard.

Despite my public content creator persona that may portray me as self-centered, I want to take my role as an Illuvium Community Council member as seriously as possible. I have a deep love for Illuvium and its community, and I believe that Illuvium has the potential to be one of the biggest games ever created, completely changing the game industry forever.

One of my proudest accomplishments was organizing and hosting the most highly praised Illuvium esports tournament to date. I worked hard to coordinate with all eight players, set up the commentators, and create a system for viewers to access each competitor's stream through Nightbot in the chat. Even when we faced technical difficulties such as video quality and mic issues, I was able to adapt and overcome these obstacles to ensure that the tournament was a success. This experience showcases my ability to lead a successful event and work collaboratively with others in a mentally demanding and high-pressure environment. This proving that when high-stress situations occur that are within my control to fix, I always rise to the occasion. The tournament allowed me to develop skills in problem-solving, communication, and organization that I believe will serve me well as an Illuvium Community Council member.

Game Sub-Council:

@tawny ledge : Hello! I'm Patrick, aka Illuvination, Paz, or Pat. As a Game Sub-Council nominee, I am excited to offer my expertise to the DAO and Community.

With a strong passion for gaming and a computer science background from a technical college, I learned major programming languages such as C++, C, Java, and C#. This equipped me with knowledge in various software development aspects, including programming and project development. As a result, I gained an understanding of game development processes, enabling me to assess game mechanics and pinpoint key elements to make games more enjoyable and captivating.
In addition to my education, I have experience as a software tester, which helped sharpen my attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

I've accumulated over 30,000 hours of gaming experience, including many games relevant to Illuvium. For example, Teamfight Tactics, Hearthstone, World of Warcraft, Warcraft III, and it's custom Maps, which were the forerunners to games like League of Legends and Autobattlers. This has given me a deep understanding of diverse gameplay styles and mechanics.
Focusing on multiplayer online games, which incorporate in-game economy, has further expanded my understanding of the challenges involved in creating balanced and engaging game systems.

In recent years, I switched my focus to the Web3 space, learning about smart contracts, Blockchain technology, DAOs, and DeFi.

Through my YouTube channel, I have gained deep knowledge of Illuvium by producing gameplay, tutorials, and community-driven content like AMA's with Kieran. 300 uploaded videos demonstrate my commitment and dedication to Illuvium.

My professional background includes working in collaborative settings, in direct face-to-face contact with customers and clients, where I've refined my abilities in communication, teamwork, and problem resolution. I feel comfortable handling stressful situations, taking on responsibility, and I am dedicated to upholding transparency, ethical decision-making, and prioritizing the long-term success of Illuvium over personal preference.

@fading elbow : Hello! My name is Riskdeath and I am pleased to serve you! As a candidate for governance of ILV, I am driven by a strong passion for the project and a deep desire to contribute to its success. Although I do not have a background in computer science and I am not bilingual, I have learned a lot since discovering Illuvium two years ago, and I am convinced that my skills and personal qualities can bring real added value to the governance team.

I am a very positive person and have always sought to support the French-speaking community and the Illuvium community in every possible way. I have actively contributed by helping newcomers understand the project and organizing events to bring community members together. My goal is to promote inclusion, which I believe is essential to the success of an ambitious project like Illuvium. As a governance member, I would like to open the door to anyone who wants to get involved in the project, even if they do not speak English. I think it is important to have a balanced representation of the different communities that make up Illuvium, and I am committed to doing everything in my power to make this happen.

Although I do not have experience working on other projects, I have devoted a great deal of my time and energy to Illuvium. I am convinced that my passion and commitment to the project more than make up for my lack of technical training. I am ready and willing to learn and invest more to contribute to the project's success.

In summary, as a candidate for governance of ILV, I am an enthusiast of the project who brings significant contributions to the French-speaking community. I am a positive and committed person who believes in inclusion and diversity. Game Sub-Council:

@quasi venture : Hey ILV fam this Anthony Faust, AKA Tailless, and I am nominating myself for the Gaming Sub-Council. My love of gaming began in 1990, when I was 5, with the release of Super Mario Bros 3 on the NES. I have played almost every genre of game over my 30+ years of gaming. This love of playing games also turned into an intrigue of how they also worked as I grew up.

I started coding when I was a Junior in High School with Visual Basic, when I recreated a small Minesweeper clone game. My Senior year I learned C++ and recreated the first level of Super Mario Bros 1. When I attended college, which unfortunately I never finished, my major was for Computer Science and Engineering. I took another C++ course my Freshman year of college and programmed a 3 level Super Mario Bros game.

Even though I never finished my education in a formal way, I still programmed off and on while I was playing Final Fantasy XI for gear macros. This is how I learned how to code in XML and LUA languages. I have also learned some Pine Script recently because of playing around with ChatGPT and TradingView.

I believe I will be a good fit on the Gaming Sub-Council because of this drive to keep learning how video games are made and all the new tech that is used to create them. It helps that I believe this project and the community are the GREATEST in Web3. I want to help be a bridge between the dev team and the community ideas, while hopefully, suggesting some key additions of my own.

If I'm elected to the sub-council, I'll work my hardest to represent everyone's interests and make sure that all voices are heard. I'm really excited about this opportunity and I hope that you'll consider voting for me!

I nominate myself for the Game Sub-council to share my full-time GameFi knowledge and experience. I have been deeply involved with the Illuvium community and the wider industry:

Created rough prototype games in UE5/C++ Action RPGs and racing games.

Degrees in Aerospace Engineering and Master’s in Business Administration.

Web 3 Experience:

Tested 70+ Web3 games at various stages: Pre-alpha, Alpha, Beta, and Live.

Strategy Sub-Council:

@chilly heath :
My name is Nick, also known as Nijafe in the Illuvium community due to my Illuvium-dedicated YouTube channel ""Nijafe_Plays Illuvium."" I am excited to announce my candidacy for the upcoming epoch's strategy sub-council.

My interest in blockchain gaming started when I first discovered Axie Infinity in early 2021. Since then, I have been actively participating in GameFi and have gained a wealth of experience and understanding on how to effectively incorporate DeFi into gaming. After learning about Illuvium, I knew that this project was going to be a winner, but like any other project, it had its flaws.

I believe that I can use my experience and expertise to make Illuvium a better and more enjoyable experience for all players. For the past 18 months, I have been creating weekly YouTube content about Illuvium without taking missing time. I hope that this has demonstrated my dedication and passion for Illuvium, as well as my strong work ethic.

In my videos, I have discussed various GameFi aspects of Illuvium, including intra-game fuel economics, lending and renting systems, new utility for existing assets, and how the Illuvium IP can expand with the help of third-party organizations. I will be releasing a video very soon highlighting some of the ideas I already have, as well as what values and beliefs I will be bringing to the council.

As an active member of the Illuvium community, I understand the concerns and conversations that are taking place. It's essential to consider everyone's perspective, regardless of whether that person is an investor, gamer, or somewhere in between. I can assure you, as a community member your voice will be heard. I will prioritize your interests and work towards making Illuvium a better platform for everyone.

Community Sub-Council:

@ashen badger :
Hey, my name is Matt commonly known as Oskamatt through my YouTube and Discord handles and I am running for the Community Sub Council. I have been around the Illuvium community and producing Illuvium content on YouTube for over a year now. I have made over 100 videos featuring Illuvium and the ecosystem. For a period of time, I was creating a weekly article called Illuvinews, where I filtered through all Illuvium content to provide the weekly highlights to the community. Through this content creation and immersing myself in the community, I have come to know the core community and Illuvium team over the past year. I have developed great relationships and trust within the community, and feel comfortable speaking up as to why certain ideas may not be feasible within the Illuvium ecosystem.

Outside of Illuvium I am an electrician by trade and have worked my way up to be a team leader in my company. I have experience in leading teams of up to 30 members and I am also in the process of completing a certificate in leadership and management. I will be able to bring the skills I have learnt during my experience and training, and implement these into the Illuvium council. As a leader and someone that people look up to, I pride myself on being very approachable and listening to all ideas that the team/community have. I am able to explain why their ideas either will work or not work at a level that everyone can understand.

If elected, I will be pouring my heart and soul into a project that I believe in. If I gain this opportunity I will give it everything that I can and will stand up for the best interests for Illuvium. VOTE for OSKAMATT

As I've come to appreciate the importance of digital ownership, I've recognized the immense potential of this game, and I'd like to offer my expertise to help make it even better. With my background in economics, I recognize the significance of a sustainable in-game economy to ensure a game's long-term success.

Community Sub-Council:

@short panther : I’m Justin, you may know me as b0tch. I am a User Experience consultant with a passion for Illuvium and its community. Over the course of my career I have held many roles, I have founded and run a non-profit, served as a director of a small software company, and I am currently running my own business as an independent UX consultant. In my younger years I co-led a counter-strike clan.

In my role as an Illuvium community member, I have helped craft IIPs and ICCPs that have successfully made it through the idea-to-voting process, with a focus on prioritizing the community's ideas over my own personal desires. I believe that I have a deep understanding of the community and its needs, and that I am able to synthesize multiple points of view into a coherent proposal.

My first-hand knowledge of the IIP/ICCP process will be a valuable asset as a community sub-council member, whose main responsibility is to refine and guide ideas from the community into a votable form.

As a UX designer, I am committed to making processes as easy as possible for users. In the context of Illuvium's governance system, I believe that the first epoch of Gov v2 will be particularly critical in defining and refining processes that are easy for the community to participate in.

I am excited about the possibility to serve as a community sub-council member for Illuvium. With my leadership experience, first-hand knowledge of the IIP/ICCP process, and expertise in UX design, I can make meaningful contributions to the community and help the community guide Illuvium towards continued success.

Marking Sub-Council:

@frigid wyvern :
Dear members of the Marketing Council,

I am writing to formally nominate myself for the Marketing Council position. My name is Sam Withers, and I am a resident of Melbourne, Australia. I have been involved in the cryptocurrency space for eight years and have been an avid gamer for my entire life, having played everything from World of Warcraft to various other games. I am both a player and an investor in lluvium, so you can be assured that my intentions are solely focused on advancing the project.

Currently, I hold over 1,000 $ILV tokens and 40+ land plots, making it imperative for me that this project succeeds. I do not have a full-time job, which means I can dedicate a significant amount of time towards growing this ecosystem using my expertise.

I believe that I am an ideal candidate for this position because of my track record in growing social media accounts from thousands to millions of followers. Whether it be for friends, businesses, or just for fun, I have accumulated considerable experience in social media marketing. I am confident that my skill set will allow me to provide exponential growth to the lluvium ecosystem.

Moreover, I have been here since close to the project's inception and was one of the first YouTubers to interview Kieren. I have seen the project grow and have been fascinated by its development. As an insider, I can bring a unique perspective to the Marketing Council.

In conclusion, I hope you will consider me for the Marketing Council position. Thank you for your time and consideration, and I look forward to meeting each and every one of you.

Community Sub-Council:

@halcyon glacier :
I'm Blickter, I'm bad at selling myself, but I do understand Illuvium's governance system and community. Additionally, I know how to get proposals moved from inception to voting.

I firmly believe that every experience in life is an opportunity to learn, and I tend to treat my experiences that way. Many of the things I've found effective in the past epoch were sourced from non-traditional sources.

I have experience running guilds in World of Warcraft, which I found to be useful in the past epoch in terms of asynchronous communication, controlling messaging, and working collaboratively.

I've worked in a variety of blue collar industries, where production matters more than intention. To put this another way, I believe that if you aren't getting anything done, it doesn't matter what your opinion is or what ideas you had. I believe this has been valuable this past epoch, as councils are (rightfully) judged by their actions.

I believe the DAO could benefit from my experience and skill set in the coming epoch, and would consider it a privilege to continue to serve the DAO as a member of the Community Council.

@barren storm :
Grass-roots; Is defined as ordinary people regarded as the main body of an organization's membership.

Fellow Illuvinauts my name is Kenneth aka Fight4Eth and I am throwing my hat into the ring for the privilege of being apart of the Marketing Sub-Council.

I found Illuvium on twitter almost two years ago and I have been obsessed with the project and Impressed with the team ever since.

I use my twitter account Fight4Eth to express my passion for the team and for the product they are working to build. This is how I believe I can make an impact as a Marketing Sub-Council Member.

I started tweeting about Illuvium in August of 2021 and I have been involved with the community ever since. 3rd Place in Trivia won me a cool Doka shirt (I wear it all the time) I also won the first ever Discord D1sk Opening Battle hosted by Kieran and Rich ( I still cant believe I won). I can also claim I came up with the idea of changing batches to Waves 🙂 My little contribution really made me feel apart of the DAO and it just goes to show how the Illuvium team doesn't just talk about being a DAO they really are one.

I have grown my twitter account to 1500 followers and I have went from 700 tweet impression in August of 2021 to 126,000 tweet impressions in March of this year. I did this out of passion for Illuvium and will continue to do so as a Council Member if elected. I believe with the resources giving to me as a Council Member I can take my contributions to the DAO to the next level.

Grass Roots, Word of Mouth and community first Marketing strategies is what I will bring to the table as a Marketing Sub-Council Member.

Thanks for taking the time to read my nomination and I will see you on Twitter and Discord 🙂

Marketing Sub-Council:

@subtle pewter : I have a Bachelor of Commerce, Majors in Accounting & Management. I previously spent 5 years as a Financial Advisor, building my business and my own personal brand. A key part of this was building relationships with referral partners to generate new business. The skill set I developed in this role is transferable to the Marketing Council role when building relationships with partners and influences. My current role is manager of a finance team of a government department. Both roles have required a professional approach and high attention to detail.

I have a professional communication style, and had no problem building relationships throughout my career with stakeholders at all levels. I am confident I can bring these strong communication skills to the web 3 space.

I started exploring the web 3 space in late 2021 and been a part of the Illuvium community since Jan 2022. I am a strong believer in this project, its vision, and its community.

@dawn cobalt : Hey my name is Scoriox aka Jason and I have dedicated my life to Illuvium and its potential since mid 2021 and have been producing YouTube and Twitter content ever since. I would like to nominate myself for the Marketing sub-council. Because of my content creator career and my broader involvement in the community I have an excellent understanding of their needs and wants. I also recognise the demographic that Illuvium targets and needs to target in the future and hope to steer the marketing language in that direction.

I have been involved in Crypto for almost 3 years now and understand not only the people involved but the underlying culture and a wide range of different kinds of creators and community members.

I regularly field DM's and communicate with a diverse variety of creators, developers and other web 3 enthusiasts and constantly build connections in the space. Many find me helpful and easy to approach and I will be able to use this experience to connect Illuvium with even more personalities in not just Web 3, but crypto.

I have been doing consistent public speaking and presenting myself as a designer for the past 8 years. In university for 4 years I presented my own work and the work of my many teams 3 times a week. After this I worked as a technician and sales rep for the most diverse 3D printing company in Australia. Constantly teaching new clients how to operate the printers and selling our existing product to companies newly entering 3D printing. Following this I am at my current job where I am constantly upgrading the marketing efforts within my current company as I pushed them to use 3D rendering and digital animation alongside photography.

@deep robin : Most of you don't know me but I've been around for quite some time. Joined the community in October 2021 and staked a month later until now and beyond. In March 2022 started helping out Infoluvial and in the process helped with developing the new website. Later that year, I co-founded IlluviHub with an amazing team, and we've been working hard to support the community ever since. As one of the developers of the website and manager of our Twitter account, I've been heavily involved in our efforts to make a positive impact.

I have a Master's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science and currently work as a web developer for a company in Croatia. In my role, I work with major clients such as the Government of Croatia and two of the largest banks in the country.

I have experience working as a LG Promoter Team Leader where I supervised around 30 promoters daily. Changed the whole promotion process in 4 years working there and improved efficiency by more than 50%. Held a Best Promoter practice presentation in front of the LG CIS President and LG Europe Marketing team, after which the whole of Europe started adapting parts of my presentation and using them every day. During my time working there, I received multiple marketing offers from multiple major customer electronics companies.

Around 2016 I was a social media manager for ESL World of Tanks where I was administrating Twitter and Facebook accounts. At that time I was also a player and a tournament admin/referee.

For 5 years I was a writer and a contributor to the biggest PokemonGO community website with almost 300k Twitter followers.

I hope this gives you a better understanding of my background and experience. If you have any questions feel free to reach out!

SJUD | XBorg#9992 :
It's Stephen aka SJUD aka ILV God aka Mr. Humble. I'm a professional cryptocurrency trader and Web3 gamer. I'm a lifelong strategy game player starting with Magic the Gathering at 8 years old when I played my first tournament and got last place, but won the random raffle for a tournament pack prize. Sometimes it is better to be lucky than good but thankfully I've improved since then in multiple card games including Elder Scrolls Legends and Artifact. I then made the transition to autobattlers as a top ranked Dota Underlords and Illuvium player. Throughout my journey in Illuvium, I have shown prowess as a player (topping the leaderboards in Arena) and offered Coaching to other players looking to hone & improve their skills. As an esports team member/Captain, I have shared expertise & knowledge, helping to bring us all to the next level.

Shameless Accomplishment Bragging Section:
Dota Underlords:
World Rank #1 Knockout Player
World Rank #1 Duos Player (with Kyle aka itsMartini as my teammate)

Illuvium:
#1 Overall Rank in Private Beta 1
2nd Place = 5k Illuvium Private Beta Tournament
1st Place = Polemos Community Tournament #1
3rd Place = XBorg and Ethlizards Illuvium Showdown #1
2nd Place = XBorg and Ethlizards Illuvium Showdown #2
1st Place = XBorg and Ethlizards Illuvium Showdown #3

I was also a consultant for Valve for about 6 months working with the developers on their autochess game Dota Underlords. I used my knowledge to help with the design and function of new Units/Underlords, balance changes for frequent patches, and overall bug fixing.
From an economics, game design, and game playing background I believe I have all the skills needed to utilize the council member position to help make Illuvium the great game it has the potential to be

Game Sub-Council:

@paper oxide : My passion for gaming and my experience in the industry make me a strong candidate for this role. I believe that gaming is an essential part of our lives, and it should be enjoyable and accessible for everyone.

Throughout my career, I have worked on various gaming projects, from development to marketing. I have seen firsthand how the industry has evolved and how technology has changed the way we play games. I am impressed with the current development team and the work they have done in creating a platform that enables gamers to connect and play together seamlessly.

I have been a gamer for 25+ years and have seen all the highs and lows. I have seen the change in gaming from an obscure hobby, to entertainment to competitive sports. I have felt the pains of producers destroying a franchise through not listening to their player base. I will advocate for players first and foremost and strive to give a voice to those who want to be playing Illuvium for years to come.

Community Sub-Council:

@buoyant glade :
Hello friends! You know me as Anorak. My name is Jay, and I am excited for this opportunity to run for community Sub-Council. Our DAO and the Illuvium ecosystem have come such a long way since I joined in July 2021, and I am passionate about helping to take us even further as your community advocate.

As a long-standing member of this community I have been witness to the highs and lows together - the anticipation, the delays, and the excitement. Throughout our shared journey, I've realized the need for a dedicated voice, someone who truly understands and represents the community's interests. Needless to say I was elated when the community sub-councel position was announced!

I have a background in communication and interpersonal mediation, including certification as a trainer in Neuro-Linguistic Programming, which is the artful blending of psychology, and specific use of language for influence, mediation, and life coaching. I have honed these advanced communication and interpersonal skills that will help me bridge the gap between the community, the main council, and the Dev Team. I also have experience in business ownership, management, and working as a first responder as a firefighter/paramedic which has equipped me with the ability to handle pressure and make crucial decisions in challenging situations.

As your dedicated Community Sub-Council member, I vow to not only be your advocate but also your conduit for change. I will engage with you, champion your ideas, and draft proposals on your behalf to ensure your perspectives are heard and respected. I am committed to making our DAO more inclusive, transparent, and dynamic than ever before.

I welcome any questions or conversations you may have, so please feel free to reach out to me via DM or ping me. Together, let's make our Illuvium experience the best it can be. Vote for me as your Community Sub-Council member, and let's embark on this exciting journey as one united force.

Thank you for considering my candidacy; I eagerly look forward to the opportunity to serve our community.

Community Sub-Council:

@meager prairie : Hello there! My name is Rickytan (a.k.a Ricky), and I am running for the Community Sub-Council! You may know me as the luckiest guy, or even being the inspiration behind “Illuvitar D1sk Battles”, but that is only scratching the surface!

For more than a year, I have been a passionate and dedicated member of this Community because I strongly believe in the future of Illuvium! In my opinion, my previous work experience, personality and creative ideas can offer value to the Council and contribute to our DAO’s success.

With over 10 years of experience in Sales, Customer Service, and Project Management, I understand the importance of a strong work ethic, collaboration, communication and problem solving. In addition, being customer-centric has led me to always act with integrity and continuously build long lasting and trustworthy relationships.

As a Condominium Board Director, I am able to actively listen to homeowners’ concerns, enabling me to make well-informed decisions to serve the best interests of our Condo Corporation. I would directly apply this practice towards always putting the interests of the Illuvium DAO first and foremost.

My focus as a Council Member will be ensuring everyone has a voice, and promoting equality & inclusivity for all, as we work to increase community engagement in the governance process. I plan to be the “bridge” between our diverse community and the other Sub-Councils by funneling ideas/feedback/viewpoints to facilitate the development of IIPs/ICCPs and aid in Council deliberations.

Thank you for joining me on this journey! It's time for your voices to be heard, and together, we can make a difference this Epoch! Vote for Rickytan!

Let's stay community strong and do what's best for the DAO!

Game Sub-Council:

@shy ermine : Hello, I'm Erikagloom, and I make content for the Italian Illuvium community. I'm running for the sub-council of Gaming. My vision for the council is for it to be made up of multi-potential, professional people. Instead of a developer or gamer point of view, I propose myself as an aesthetic / artistic + storytelling point of view that allow me to be a joker and a link between various aspects of different games.

I am endowed with intelligence and curiosity which allows me to assimilate new technologies in a short time and it is a very useful feature in web3 and in the world of AI where everything moves and changes very quickly.

I immediately liked the Illuvium project both for the moral on which it was built and for the unique point of view of web3 gaming. But my critical thinking allows me to analyze strengths and weaknesses, how things can be screwed up and I have the desire to dissect problems and propose solutions.

My strengths are knowing how to work as a team and not fight for dominance, preferring the flexibility of mediation to achieve goals in concrete times.

Community Sub-Council:

@marsh kite : If you are looking for someone who knows everything that the public should know about the project and is familiar with helping people in the discord creating well-thought-out proposals, then I’m your guy!

I have taken part in this community for over 20 months now. I have soaked up information whenever I could and redistributed that on multiple occasions. In the process of making information more readily available, I co-founded Infoluvial and took on writing the fandom as a side project. I later transitioned to starting Illuvihub with a team of incredibly enthusiastic community members, all the while answering questions and writing all-inclusive guides about topics that were relevant at those times such as Illuvitars and Illuvium Zero.

Through looking up the information and internalising it, I feel comfortable saying that I may well be in the top 10 of community members when it comes to knowing all about Illuvium. Scrambling bits and pieces together and creating coherent articles or guides from them is what I have been doing all this time. I previously stuck to the sidelines and didn’t really bother with governance or being in the spotlight. This however changes with Governance V2, because the tasks of the community council are right up my alley.

Digging deep into what the community ideates upon and pointing those involved towards how that can fit into the project is imperative when helping someone write IIP’s for Illuvium. I know that I have the knowledge and flexibility of mind to put the current situation and new ideas together.

@crisp parrot :
Hi all - Jack (Haitzu) here raising my hand to represent the community on the ILV Strategy sub-council. Day to day, I lead $IMX strategy, focusing on how we grow the Immutable ecosystem to onboard 100M players to our titles, especially Illuvium. My team also looks after $GODS, $GOG and Immutable Apollo, partnering with IMX studio on all things web3 strategy, from capital raising to tokenomics. With 100+ titles on IMX nowadays, I’ve seen how to execute, and how not to execute.

Let me be very clear -

Illuvium is one of the most important experiments in blockchain gaming.

No other project has had the courage to execute this type of governance framework for players, and I feel a personal obligation to be of service to the team, and to the DAO, to ensure this experiment succeeds. I spend all my time thinking about how games go mainstream, and how we can create exciting economic primitives within/outside of game economies to onboard 100M players, and the dream is to set an example for this industry in how codevelopment with a community can work.

Speaking personally, I come to the community not representing Immutable, but as a long term fan and holder who wants to see this industry succeed. I started off my career as a founder, and most formative years in capital markets, leading mergers and acquisitions for a global fintech… from acquiring competitors to brokering high value partnerships, these all sources of edge that I want to deploy for the DAO

As we think about the next chapter of strategy for the DAO, I am here to serve.

Jack

@neon shuttle :
Yo, My real name is James and I am nominating myself for the Marketing Sub-Council.

And here we go..

I'm a self-proclaimed degenerate gamer and a not-so-great trader. I'm a Full-Time Salesperson who's been involved with blockchains since April 2021 and have been invested in Illuvium since August 2021. Coming across this project I quickly recognized the potential of web3 games and the benefits for gamers. I'm firm believer about the vision of this project, which I believe is to be the frontier of web3 gaming adoption, delivering a high-quality AAA game, with the possibility of offering real-world benefits for its gamers.

My current full-time job role is being field territory manager. I manage sales, marketing, and promotions within my region for a nationally recognized company. Although I'm not a prominent figure in the web3 space, I'm dedicated to my job and the provide a high quality of service I for my customers. Always consistently aiming to achieve targets & expand my existing customer base.

I have been a passionate gamer since a young age, playing mostly multiplayer games with groups of friends until early morning hours at internet cafes. Although I don't consider myself a pro, I enjoy the challenge and the opportunity to learn from others. I'm always experimenting with new ways to play games and use this creative way of thinking when it comes to generating business ideas.

My passion for gaming and web3, combined with my professional determination, I feel makes me an ideal candidate for the marketing sub-council team. I am committed to utilizing my experience and expertise to contribute to the project's success by promoting it to a wider audience and enhancing its reputation within the current web3 industry. With my drive and dedication, I believe I can make a valuable contribution to the governance of the Illuvium project.

Game Sub-Council:

@distant root : Heyo! I'm Steven, better known as Patate around here. I am writing this to offer my expertise and passion to the community as a Game Sub-Council member.

I breathe passion, dedication, and hard work in everything I do since I'm a kid. For my gaming background, I have always played one game at a time for extensive periods and became a top-level player at that game. Those games were Pokémon, Mario Kart, Minecraft, Clash of Clans, Hearthstone, Clash Royale, Brawl Stars, and Counter-Strike.

As I got into my late teens, playing video games sadly couldn't make the cut in my time management due to my OCD of being extremely productive and becoming my best self. My video game then became online poker. I rose the stakes very fast and became a semi-professional working in many communities and study groups with professionals.

The future was very bright in this avenue, but when I discovered Illuvium and got my beta access at the very beginning, my world changed.

To me, Illuvium is at the very front edge of the Web3/GameFi revolution. I quit poker completely without hesitation and went all-in in Illuvium with the goal of becoming the best I can and helping as many as I can along the way.

I became one of the very best players in the Arena very fast and still am to this day. I am proud to be the leader of one of the biggest, strongest, and most active Illuvium guilds.

This is not about me, though. The broad strategic mission of the Council is to be the voice of the community. I sincerely believe in the potential of a DAO structure. Governance v2 is an amazing upgrade, but we have to make sure we don't lose sight of our real mission as council members.

Being the leader of one of the fastest-growing and most active communities focused on Illuvium and being a top player in the game itself, I believe I am in a perfect place to represent the voice of the community in the game aspect.

In doing so, directly with the community, I am naturally always in a state of studying the Illuvium games and thinking about what we need/want as a community.

It truly is an honor to offer my passion to you and give my all to represent the community in order to make the best game in the world that we all believe Illuvium can be.

Vote for the community!

Strategy Sub-Council:

@teal cedar : As a nominee for the Strategy Sub-Council, I bring a unique blend of technical skills, business acumen, and a passion for gaming. I am a Full-Stack Developer and a student, which affords me flexible time commitments to dedicate to the council.

I've brought my passion for gaming and technical expertise together, co-founding IlluviHub and played a crucial role in the development of the previous v2 website for Infoluvial. This hands-on experience, combined with my internship in 'Agile Development of Computer Games', has provided me with a comprehensive understanding of the technical complexities and agile methodologies involved in game development. These experiences have strengthened my ability to adapt, innovate, and understand solutions in the dynamic field of gaming, attributes I believe are valuable for the Strategy Sub-Council at Illuvium.

My business instincts were developed through managing a reseller business and a crypto farm for a year. These experiences have deepened my understanding of finance, risk management, and strategic planning. Additionally, my bachelor's thesis on user feedback and data analytics has instilled in me the importance of data-driven decision-making, a skill that I believe will be invaluable to the council.

Having been an avid gamer for over a decade, with a track record in various strategy games as a top player, I have a deep understanding of in-game dynamics and player expectations. I believe this insight will be crucial in aligning the interests of gamers and investors for the long-term success of Illuvium.

In conclusion, my combination of technical expertise, gaming experience, and business insights uniquely qualifies me. Illuvium is more than just a project to me; it's a passion. I am eager to contribute to its success and would be honored to have your vote to serve our community.

@fleet oar :
Happy to have found a DAO filled with smart and committed people. My name is Thor Lowry and I hope to work for you serving on the Strategy Sub-Council.
I work as a Web3 independent contractor. Having seen dozens of projects in detail, I help break out of group think and identify areas to improve and advise how to improve. We have years of trailblazers who have tried many different strategies, and we should learn from the risks they took. Identify what worked best, and what seemed good but failed. We are no longer so early that we need to invent novel solutions for everything.
Before Web3 - Officer in the US Army Cavalry, MBA, worked for two Fortune 100 companies. Family life - 2-year-old daughter. Wife 8 months pregnant with another.
Worked with Ethlizards on their White Paper, Walker World on their staking model, and several other companies through Arcade2Earn that you may engage with in the future.
Joined Illuvium Community in August 2021, after seeing the potential and watching some YouTube videos of people that are now running for the Marketing Sub-Council.
Number one focus should be player acquisition. There are many things we can work on, and we will, but none of those mean anything if we don’t have the daily active users. Will maintain a focus on finding best strategies to get mass adoption.
I’ve built something to bring value to the Illuvium Community. Illuvium Zero is a great game that I’ve spent over 100 hours playing. Through working with other Web3 gaming companies, I’ve met many large holders of Illuvium lands. They have hundreds of land plots, but no time to work them. I acquired management rights to them, and now I can provide people in the Illuvium community to earn 50% of all earning from that land. They spent millions buying them, you can earn half of what they make by just working the lands. Can also train you how to play before signing up, Dm me.
Professional past, Web3 experience, and building to benefit the Illuvium community, I hope to get your vote for me on the Strategy Council.
