I think this very much comes under official association with the Illuvium brand, as somebody following Illuvium Twitter I just see the end result, the Illuvium account putting in my face a infamous figure accused of defrauding many funds and individuals in the space and that had a hugely negative impact on the lives of many in 2022

The number of the IIP idea and clown element aside, there is a genuine discussion around the implications of Su Zhu sharing a stage with an Illuvium co-founder in association and promotion of a new product launch. I will withhold judgement and sharing my opinion at this stage, but I do believe this is worth a more formal and serious discussion if the broader community would like the council to act. Whether its this proposal or another iteration, I would like to see actual thumbs up/thumbs down perspective shared to gauge sentiment and inform the council discussion on this topic. To start the more formal voting, I have placed both reactions at the top. Please respond with those reactions as next steps are considered.

If this whole thing essentially is a “marketing stunt” the most amusing outcome that amplifies it and puts power and focus on the DAO is to have it rejected by the DAO and Kieran have a small but amusing penalty/punishment aka dressing up as a Clown, I just think of Kieran on the next podcast talking about Illuvium governance and using this as a particular example that would be both entertaining and convey the power of a decentralised Goverance structure

Im not really sure what this IIP would actually achieve. So far as im aware there is no 'official' association between the Illuvium DAO and Su Zhu nor will there be.

As far as the circus clown part (which I really hope is a joke) this is an obvious misuse of what IIPs are for and delegitimizes this whole proposal.

Yeah im not sure whether this falls under something Kieran is doing individually (which this IIP wouldn't even apply to) or a decision by the marketing team but either way I think the DAO shouldn't be micromanaging small decisions like this. If someone has a problem with the decisions that were made then there was a mature and respectful way to communicate that, but this proposal was not it.

Personally I hope it happens, It sounds like itll be entertaining at the very least and I really think people are blowing it out of proportion that it would somehow have a huge impact on the image of Illuvium.

I think it's a good execution of the DAO if it's targeted to avoid any ILV support in the battle. I don't think it should be used to prevent Kieran battling Zhu Su as Kieran himself and not as a representative of ILV. Don't think the DAO should tell the admins or team how to live their life outside of ILV
