Are there any talks or plans to enable users to connect and or sign into their gaming account using their ENS domains?

With the recent news of Shopify integrating with ENS along with “.eth” becoming one of the strongest performing NFTs / Web3 protocols, I really think there are so many reasons why this would be a bullish and logical move for illuvium.

I won’t go any further into my ideas and list of use cases for illuvium x ENS, but would love to discuss this all further with the team, or which ever preferred channels.

Just imagine also how awesome it will be once the offical ENS subdomain “wrapper” goes live! For example let’s say Scoriox.eth could set up a series of subdomains that he has control of or can sell off as individual NFTs to his followers or new users who really want to have a Scoriox name to flex. Or even a guild of gamers…?
Subdomains for Scoriox in this example can even be single, double or multiple emojis !! Or simply numbers, names or whatever the player wants.

001.Scoriox.eth or even 👹.Scoriox.eth or 👾Player1.Scoriox.eth or Kieran.Scoriox.eth etc….

This would offer SO much extra utility for any user with a “Grail” route ENS name. Not just a fans / followers but also a good way to set up revenue streams via subdomain minting sites…

The examples are endless and need to be talked about in detail. Also the potential for illuvium to become even more wildly known amongst the ENS community is huge.

ENS is pretty amazing without a doubt. I know the team has a lot on their plate right now and this probably cant be engaged with much until we get the game out. But there's great benefit to ENS names. Especially since they make wallets easier to identify and login with for the most part. Also their representation on things like leaderboards would be pretty sweet

Well maybe…? It could be a perfect time to expand the team and utilise the power of this community and can we formulate an ENS integration squad ?

Happy to draft up a proposal for both the DAO here to consider and or take to the ENS dev team and see if we can work something out.

Looks like? As in actual physical appearance ? Or how would I set up a team/squad of people to start the ball rolling ?

I’ve put a message out to some devs and some ENS builders.
I will aim to have a formal proposal before the end of this week.
