The world is empty. Besides attacking plants can you add insectlike or nonilluvials creatures that may or may not cause damage or suck energy if not shot down or jumped over. Would add more variety in the overworld. Or random swarms of insects or creatures that you don’t want to be sucked into or need to avoid on your travels or lose health or energy.

Or just pretty creatures like birds or jellyfish floating on the air or fishes, whales, dinosaurs that are not illuvials roaming the land. Be nice to get caught in a stampede of creatures and die…
