I’ve noticed everyone likes to flex what they got in a run, especially the shards! It really is all luck tho which makes it less impressive and less valuable to everyone. So why not put a skill factor into a run haul.
When mining deposits there should be a function that replaces the extracting bar. The extracting bar will
be a gradient of green yellow and red back to yellow and then green where an arrow moves up the bar and you press the space bar at the precise time it crosses the red section. This determines not what’s in the deposit but how many slots are opened. Maybe low end 4 and high end 6 (ik this depends on your mozart and the region as well).
Would be an awesome way to add the skill edge to the overworld mining.
