overworld in game camera

if the ranger had a camera in her inventory you could send her in the overworld on a scavenger hunt to find locations/plants/illuvials.... they could capture events or funny/memorable moments and post it in an in game album or share it online.

once you have captured enough photos of the landmarks on an area maybe have the names of the areas appear on the minimap so you feel less lost on your next traversal/adventure.

on the battle board enable the player to capture epic moments in the battle board to post and brag in an in game album... but viewable by others in sanctum mesa... if you capture an epic shot of ramphyre while ulting and the photo is liked by the most players, have it appear on the official in game profile of the illuvial and give credits to the player who captured the photo.

give the overworld another layer of depth on top of gathering resources and capturing illuvials...

I really like this. Seems like a low dev investment for something that could create a lot of fun. It might make more sense to give the ability to Moz4rt as a 'camera mode' so that you could include your ranger in the photos you took.

I wouldn't call it a low dev investment. Not for the sharing aspects and so on. But there will be ingame world chat so if integrated into that it could be quite novel
