So players only get set amount of energy per travel. What if they found a shard deposit with T5 shard in it but they only got like 100 energy left and couldn't get the T5 shard on the first try. What if we give them an option to replenish some energy but it would cost more than what it usually is. Basically give them the option to get that T5 if they really want it at a higher cost.
This is quite a novel idea. I'd like to see it be particularly punishing but overall it's strong
A good example of this. Imagine what people willing to pay for that extra energy
You need to consider that it makes all of your scanning decisions less impactful
If you know u can gain extra energy. You can then scan every item in the game. And find the rarest ones. With very little detriment. But if this were extremely punishing. Eg 5x the cost of doing another run then I don't mind
It should be punishing & limited. They should pay high price for not optimizing their energy. I'm not saying they can fully replenish their energy maybe like 500 energy or less and the price is incremental based on travel tier or something.
