just wanna throw out some ideas:

extraction game mode: (30?) people spawn in the overworld all are gathering resources but if you see come across someone you can kill them and steal their loot; you keep your loot if you exit the obelisk safely or if time runs out and nobody killed you

coop gathering: a group of people spawn in the overworld... much more fun to see other people roaming so it feels less lonely / more alive...

feedback: love the overworld beta. i hope you decrease the distance between resources sometimes i press q and the next resource is so far away or even none at all... this gives the overworld the feeling of being empty (not alive; like your alone). so i propose you just litter the place with common plants etc. but the uncommon and rare reesources you space much further apart. aside from that i just wish there are a lot more community spaces where you see other rangers walking around with you so you can show off your skins outside of PVP arena...

@sharp perch I would love to investigate how difficult a co-op game mode would be to add in, in a technical and dev perspective. You need to create the server connections between players and some level of matchmaking algorithm. Is there a key reason we cannot implement this? Is there a lore based reason even?

PvP is obviously significantly more difficult but in terms of roaming while others are roaming it would definitely alleviate a lot of the 'emptiness' concerns I am currently seeing. I know there are already plans to make this better but I am curious

Right now the focus is on building the Single Player experience that allows us to get to v1 Full Release of the Core 'Interoperable Blockchain Game' experience i.e. Overworld/Arena/Illuvium Zero.

We still have a long ways to go as far as Foundational Systems + 7 Unique Regions

Introducing an immediate need for Co-Op/Lobby's/Matchmaking diverts resource from getting us to that v1 Full Release

I don't want to sabotage myself but wouldn't be better if we lose something if we chose to die to go to the obelisk, instead of teleporting to it if we don't met the rquirements? (sorry for the bad english)
