Create a list of questions for all council nominees to answer

Hello, I'd like to to compile a list of some questions that people might have for the council nominees.

This list should include the questions @fresh rapids asked in the interviews.

Why?
This will allow a single glance on a table, that shows Council members and their positions on certain topics.

Example:
What's your stance on council pay?
Stay/Reduce/Increase/Remove

And this way if people desire the coincil pay to be reduced, they'll pick council members that will make this happen.

I don't think watching 26 interviews that are 15+ minutes is reasonable. Or maybe not everyone has been interviewed. I'd love to see a more concised data.

@hardy flax Let's organise a Town Hall for the nominees who are interested a day or two before voting starts? If this is something the community wants?

I think Shabim meant that would be a good question to ask nominees. Doing interviews can be stressful for people.

I actually really liked the questions Tarren asked this time around, but I do think a concise text copy of answers could be useful to help people at a glance.

I think this isn't ideal as saying "reduce / increase" will have emotional responses and nominees wouldn't have a chance to share their nuanced thoughts

The whole point of this is to have everything simplfied. Nuanced thoughts can be understood once you're picking between your top 2-3 candidates.
I'm personally not gonna consider any candidate that thinks paying these stipends is something that should continue, but I'm not able to watch 26 interviews, to find out which those are.

If we want to have informed decisions made, we should provide the most easy to consume information. Otherwise we end up with popularity contests.

I disagree, video is not the only form of information there is. I can get informed quicker using different mediums.

Why are sites like infoluvial a web site instead of a youtube channel. It's just way easier to digest large amount of data.

so potentially reach out to them and ask them to deliver the information in that format that you enjoy.

directly reaching out to them may yield more efficient results than complaining that it doesn't exist

I think a candidate section on a gov v2 site is a great idea with a set of questions gathered from the community before each election. And a place were bios and other info about candidates could live in a centralized location.

This has been a great idea from my perspective as a nominee as well as from what I’ve seen with the community. I’d suggest we flag it as implemented and keep a similar approach for future epochs.

We can compile the list, post it in #809220334862860299 or #950693680925261844. The nominees can go over in discord and answer. From that point, I'm pretty sure someone will take upon the task to put it all in google spreadsheet.
