Restricting part of the map from players of average skill? No. Jumping challenge solely for an achievement/flex? Maybe. However they put a lot of effort into making the levels fun to traverse, requiring both jumps and jet pack. I can’t see how they could do that AND have difficult jump puzzles.
I think it’s more likely that ‘speed runs’ would be how people flex their superior use of traversal mechanics.

It wouldn't be a major section of the map. Let's just say if you cant make a few hard jumps you miss out on harvesting a couple plants. The game would not depend on these areas. If you don't like the challenge you can harvest the easy to reach plants.
They are just the little extras that challenge you in the game. Maybe the reward is just a cool view or rock painting.

Stay on the ground and enjoy the scenery no one is forcing you to get to hard to reach sections. Maybe the scenery is the part of the reward of navigating the section.

I would like to have discoverable easter eggs or things you can get as "achievements" rather than making it extremely difficult for average gamer to get it.

In shardbluff there is this place called Zamia. It will have to be accessed through the east side of Shardbluff also known as "the Lera".
The south side of Shardbluff is interesting because leviathans in the sea will sometimes swim closer to the shore and basically create artificial eb and flow. During eb, zamia is available to be explored but the water around it should be avoided where eggs of some kind drift. I would expect a small rocky trail with peaks to have to be traversed to get to Zamia. And due to the tide changes it would only have limited accessibility.

As far as i remember from grant, there gona be spots hard to reach. I can imagine there are also things Like you mentioned already implemented, for example Crystal shores where the special movememt gona be floating crystals. There will be easy courses, but for super rare illuvials you probably gona have to try the difficult route.
