Have you guys considered a subscription service to play overworld/illuvium? I heard grant recently saying the grind would be similar to that of WoW which sounded more grindy than they had initially planned. Kieran I know said he didn’t want the game to be grindy but that was a year ago. Maybe a subscription, particularly for longer periods at discounted price, keeps things affordable while also keeping steady stream of income. Hi Bud, it's an interesting idea but one that is a complete counter to the in game fuel economy.
Every game nowadays follows the game season pass model. I think it can exist in illuvium as well. Which is a budget buy for everyone that is interested in giving it a try and returning players as well.
The problem with having this kind of thing on a fuel economic game, is that there will be ppl trying to create many accounts based on it being the best deal in the game.
Is it planned to have soulbond nfts?
I don’t believe I’ve heard of soulbound nfts to an account, only illuvitar customizations are soulbound to that illuvial if I’m not mistaken. They could do something where if you trade an nft to another account their level falls by 5-10 levels.
what about an optional subscription service that gives you x amount of fuel each month at a discounted price (maybe enough for 3 overworld runs?). That way it can give some level of stability in revenue and also rewards players who stay active. Again this being completely optional for the player, sort of a season pass type thing
As long as the subscription service was underpinned by the fuel economy it could work. I'll raise it for you
