What are everyone's thoughts with having a "preorder" of the beta, coming with an exclusive gun skin or something small but tradeable? idk maybe a bad idea because its not full release but beta release but I think it could bring interesting discussion. (nothing advantageous)

From what I’ve seen all ‘promo’ skins are tradeable but also burnt on use. Separately, I’m sure ILV are all over this concept and may airdrop things if/when there is valid marketing reasons to do so. (I did notice in the IZ gameplay leak the nexus building’s description said ‘enables nexus airdrops’) 👀

When something is burnt on the blockchain then it means it is sent to a wallet/location where it can’t be retrieved from. The asset is essentially destroyed. So it would mean that these things would be locked to your in game account and would no longer be transferable as NFTs.

I personally would pay for a non-advantageous minor skin as a collectors item for the beta release or something similar. Seems like burning this asset on the block chain would make it so you can view it within your wallet without being able to sell or transfer it. What are your guys' thoughts on that? And this concept in general?

Just had a thought - you all know the robot that follows you around in the overworld? If you go to leaks and scroll up a bit it's the running video demonstration it's there. What if there was a beta launch skin for the lil robot? I really loved this idea but I'm curious to hear your honest thoughts

@warm rapids yeah there’s a bunch of skins for that drone. There’s some old nft skins for it on opensea even now. The team usually does things like this as drawings and not just everyone gets one.
