Birds don't have a sphincter muscle like mammals so nope, impossible to house train. They make diapers for them though. I have one for when I took one of my ducks to see Santa.😂 (Yes, I am THAT weird)

It was at my dog's vet clinic. They did a Santa picture for $10 and the money went to the food bank to buy pet food.

I got her a leash but she hated it so I just carried her. Around her neck was a ribbon to make her look festive. It didn't work so well, it looks weird.😂
Santa was actually stoked to meet her. Right after her he had a massive snake, he was not as happy about that.

If he killed the chickens he is one of the over-sexed drakes, which most are. Some people have specific rubber boots they give to their drakes to try to get them to not over mate the girls. I butchered the one that came with my ducks for the dog because he was too rough with the girls.

However, my favourite is virgin bulls. They muscle more than gain fat but are still tender. After breeding they taste too gamey.

It isn't good having a bunch of bulls in a feedlot though, better to have steers.

We typically castrate at a day old. We use a band and give pain meds. They run and play as much as the females so it doesn't bother them much. They have new lidocaine bands though which I will be trying. My whole business is selling humanely raised beef so I do all I can.

Even though you had awesome quality food for them, her body may have needed a bit more of something and she is a bit deficient. Is she at the bottom of the pecking order and doesn't get as many mealworm treats? Protein is needed for feather production.
They all look happy and healthy though. Just like people some are going to be a little weaker.
