#Game doesnt launch when IGD Multi-Monitor is enabled in the BIOS

Hi, I’m having an issue launching Teardown and was hoping for some help.

When I press “Play” in Steam, the button briefly changes to “Cancel” and then goes back to “Play” without the game ever opening—no window or error message appears.

I’ve narrowed the issue down to the “IGD Multi-Monitor” setting in my BIOS. If I disable this option, the game launches and runs normally. However, I’m using 6 monitors and rely on this feature to connect my monitors to both my integrated GPU and dedicated GPU, so disabling it isn’t a practical long-term solution.

I also saw another user reporting a similar issue when having two GPUs installed, so it might be related to multi-GPU setups. https://discord.com/channels/760105076755922996/1482385586558865610

A few additional notes:

  • This issue only occurs with the current version of the game
  • The game works fine if I switch to the prev_build beta
  • Other games run without any issues with IGD Multi-Monitor enabled

Is there any known workaround or fix for this, or anything I can try to make the game launch while keeping IGD Multi-Monitor enabled?

Thanks in advance!

Update: I made a script that disables the integrated graphics, then starts the game and enables the Integrated GPU after a few seconds again. Its not Optimal but it will work for now.

It would still be nice if this issue would be fixed in the game though, especially because other people have the same problem and probably don't know how to fix it.
