As I'd really suggest giving it a go, resident emil made some very good tutorials for the in game editor

Give them a little play, try some simple stuff, then look to expand and soon enough you'll be on the path to cmaking something awesome. go karting would be super fun
strange, there's a few things that can cause that error. usually stuff like vehicle wheels or super large maps. how complex is your map?
