#gpu temps

That is actually quite cool for a 4090, do yeah that is perfectly fine
Those temps are suspiciously cool
It might be connected to the problem youre having in #questions-pc but i'm no expert
That was already solved
I don't think a 4090 is used 100% for Teardown, so cool temps make sense.
I might be wrong, I have a 4090 but I didn't pay attention to the usage or temps, I'll check tommorow because I'm going to bed now
@tepid mica @urban spindle my rtx 4090 averages 20 - 40% usage with spikes of 60% for a few frames, never gets above 45c temps
4090 just too powerful for Teardown
omg my hands would sweat from the hours of recording teardown videos on my laptop
internally it would always reach 100c
ooo alr
mine seems to be using 100%
i use external mouse and keyboard
and sits at around the 55-65 c mark
what framerate are you capped at and what resolution?
I'm doing 1440p at 60fps (higher framerates break some mods)
if i hid my laptop i bet nobody could ever tell i was using one
other than the battery in the bottom corner in the screen
i think its uncapped (not sure how to cap it at 360) and im using 1080p with a 360hz monitor
in display settings, fullscreen is capped at 60fps, borderless window is uncapped
bordless window looks the same as fullscreen tho
billions
ok
yah when i had it capped at 60 it was also 100%
but i mean its running well and all and not going above 65c so probs fine
I get up to 98% usage when I'm uncapped at 240fps
It might also depend on what map were testing on
oh alr
