I've already tried that website, including reinstalling Steam. I do not have any third party security systems thst interfere with it either

Try uninstalling Teardown and reinstalling it on another drive

#

I had already attempted that too around 6PM

#

I have done everything in my power as to:
Uninstalling and redownloading the game
Verifying the integrity of the files
Attempting to repair both drives through steam
Uninstalling the entirety of steam and installing it again
Changing Teardown's drive path

#

etc

#

Monday, I updated the game for the new update and played for a bit. No errors.
Yesterday, tuesday it says "update" again, which took about 4 secs to do, and running it presented with my current problem

Well this error us usually derived from an ownership problem. Are you running the game as admin? If so don't. And go into microsoft defender (windows security on 11), click virus and threat protection, Click manage settings, scroll down, and then click add or remove exceptions.
