Do you have vsync enabled or disabling in the settings?

#

What is the refresh rate on your monitor? Also try increasing the resolution and graphics of the game, looks grainy and see if that helps

#

You are gaming on a shadow server?

#

Oh ok

#

As a side note, overlays are known to cause performance issues with Teardown and other games.

#

I suspected as much. Screen tearing really depends on your monitor and it's refresh rate. You can go ahead and try turning v-sync on in Teardown AND in the nvidia graphics control panel, as well as switching to borderless window. Dropping the refresh rate to 60hz (if available) might help as well.

#

Wow that is impressively bad lol

#

Ok try this

#

In the Nvidia Control panel, go to program settings and enable vsync here

#

Then in TD's settings, disable it

#

Try updating both your graphics drivers and windows update and restart your pc

#

gotcha

#

Are you on a laptop or desktop? Does this occur in any other games?

#

Do you have another monitor available to test on?

#

huh

#

thats what you get ..

#

if you disable all the things

#

and low render

#

totally normal i would say.. it's just how the game does it's thing

#

motion blur on and render quality medium makes it almost unnoticable

#

minimum to avoid trailing

I also had this issue with my old laptop. It was 60hz display, but now I have 165hz monitor and I barely see this... I really don't know what the fix for this might be, but I suppose it is something to do with the Hz of your monitor or with the FPS

#

In my case, the issue completely resolves when I leave all the settings on enabled/100% except of the render quality
