I;m brand new to this world and I just want to learn how to play so I can show my friends and so they can learn but I have no clue where to get good information.

I strongly recommend purchasing Player's Handbook and the Dungeon Master's Guide (if interested in DMing).

These can be found at many hobby/book stores or online

I also recommend getting age verified if over 18 and playing games here, since there's no better ways of learning than by doing
