First character build

Hello I’m making my first character I don’t know massively too much and I have no one I can ask for help so far my character is a warlock drow can I pick my spells for my spell book during character creation or do I get given them as I learn them during the game or is that up to watch different do to decide I don’t want to get to ahead of myself and do a bunch of stuff that won’t be needed for now thx for the help

Can I pick my spells for my spellbook

You're a warlock, you don't have a spellbook. But yes, you pick spells you know during creation. You don't get to learn spells along the adventure, only when you level up. Learning spells found is a Wizard thing.
