Having a hard time re-configuring. At whits end. Cam 2 is working (when the camera wants to). But Cam 1, which used to be rock solid, won't start.

what does your question has to do with timelapse, mainsail and klipper?

#

Also just send the whole log and not just parts that you think looks good

Sorry, my tagging was off. My brain is fried for many a reason this week.

Also, I spent the greater part of last night and rebuilt on a new SD to my BTT CB1. In hindsight, reaching out here was a last ditch effort as I was at the end of my rope wiht this. In the long run, I think it'll be ok. I'm running at a minimum. And on a newer version. I plan to take the better part of this weekend to tune and callibrate while addressing some long standing needs with my setup.

I truly appreciate your reply, time and effort! At this point, I'm going to take the "L" from the last instance. I also took this as a lesson that I should have been backing up. So the last thing I left off on was automating backups to my GH repo when my config files are updated.

With this reply you now got me the information I want. CB1 can basically only run one usb cam

Interesting. Before I managed to nuke my setup, I was running two without issue. Just borked my timelapse settings a wile back. The root cause was me getting back into it so I could reinstall the timelapse ext. But that was also on an older distro for CB1. Reading into that, I see there's a potential solution. I don't have the bandwidth at the moment, but will certainly look into that.

In defense of timelapse, it wasn't a two cam issue there. Though I added the second cam sometime after I goofed on timelapse settings over a year ago. Used to give timelapses to people I'd give prints to. When I stoped, and no one asked for it, I let it go. Then tried to get back into it, and here we are.

I've got other weirdness with the new install. Gotta figure that out, finish calibrating, then get back into it.

Thanks for the link!

The potential solution is not working. Some newer CB images might work, according to some Discord post, but I couldn't test it yet

#

Btw why did you still not fix your tags? 🙈
Please fix them

I’ll admit, that took me a hot minute to figure out! 😅

wtf, why did you change it to mainsail and klipper? You got a webcam problem and choose two unrelated tags instead?

Ok, so I was on mobile. Now that I'm not, fixed.

I found some interesting information in that post. Ultimately, this has now migrated well off of where the initial post was. As a result, I'm more that incline to mark this as closed. I MUCH appreciate the help!

As for the info, I juiced the resolution. That is potentially it, but since I'm mid-print. I'd follow up here, but you've helpped out more than enough! Thank you!

@jolly solar 👍
Thanks for all the help!

#

That's optimal. Any more, and it dies. Any less, and it errors.

Also note the port assignments are off from base. Had something already on 8080
