I have a raspberry pi 2 and was wondering if theres anyway to have a webcam connect. even if it's low resolution. Is there anyway to get the camera to stream on the webcam tab?

Does the pi run your klipper too?

#

And fix the tags

#

If you are running klipper on that pi, then don't even try to run a camera on it too

i'm contemplating switching back to octopi or trading in the 2b for a 3b, Which would you recommend @upbeat sierra

or just using Klipper without the webcam

a pi 3 is completly fine for everything in klipper. webcam + klipper.

if you use octoprint + klipper, you will get the exact same issues like mainsail + klipper if you try to use webcam + klipper on a pi2. it will just crash klipper some times, when it is overloaded.

if you use octorpint + marlin, you will get some short stops during the print. it will not crash the print, but your prints will not look very good, because these stops creats blobs. if you want to use a webcam + good prints, just upgrade to a better SBC...
