of course i tried:
pi@ender3pro:~ $ ls -l /dev/serial/by-id/*
ls: cannot access '/dev/serial/by-id/*': No such file or directory

but it obviously didn't work. I also tried the fix with changing the baud rate of the config however this didnt woik either.

I am using a raspberry pi 3 B+ for an ender 3 pro with the v.4.2.7 board. The moonraker and Klipper logs are attached

I am seriously lost here, i have been trying this for a week with two different raspberry pis and all the bugfixes i can find but nothing is working

Fix your tags, this has nothing to do with Mainsail, as it's just a website showing you stuff

echo finch

Oh, output of sudo dmesg will be helpful, sudo dmesg -w in a second terminal to watch it while you poke and prod is useful.

Doesn't matter, just execute the command unplug and replug and then send a screenshot of your terminal

echo finch
#

Yea, but I'd probably have insight as a Linux turbo nerd.

digital token
#

so just one before and one after?

echo finch
#

The last screen's worth of output.

digital token
#

thats the unplugged version

#

now its plugged in

echo finch
#

Bad cable, or MCU is not powered.

#

No signs of life from the acts of connecting it, so there is nothing to fix on the side of the Pi.

digital token
#

ill try a different cable then

#

holy fuck its working
