Would it technically be possible to have serial connection go through the network (to have the pi in a different room for example)

And what would you connect to your printer then?

Something like the EXSYS EX-6002

I see no reason why that shouldn't work, but I don't understand why someone should want to do that, as this might introduce delays resulting in an error

The area where the pi‘s are just gets a bit warmer in the summer with overheating issues sometimes so i thought about somehow having the pi somewhere else but i guess ill have to find a different solution.
Still thanks

I use a fan on mine and since I added that I had no temp problems anymore.
I ofc have a small heatsink on it too

Klipper has a very small timing window for the communication between your printer mcu and the rpi.
Moving the pi to a different place and connect it over the network will most like result in errors during the print.
