Hello, I'm new to Mainsail and don't really know where to find the code that manages the menu items when you press the power button in the top right corner of the web interface. I kind of assumed it's part of Mainsail, but to add gpio controls to this menu list, I've added definitions in the moonraker.conf file.

In any case, I would like to know if it's possible to modify the behavior of the Host Control->Shutdown button in this menu. Specifically, is it possible to add a confirmation popup or even remove the item altogether?

A simple answer is, no you cannot change the behaviour without changing code.
As it's some coding task the correct place to ask such questions would be #public-dev-talk

mainsail itself, only send the http request to moonraker. nothing more. so if you want to "change" the behavor of this button, you have to change it in moonraker itself: https://moonraker.readthedocs.io/en/latest/web_api/#shutdown-the-operating-system
(so its not possible to "config" it. only by modifying the sourcecode itself)
